Almost no escape from summer heat
It is a beautiful lake in the middle of Mongolian grassland and mountains. The camps around the lake offer great view of the lake. Numerous birds and animals that come to drink are both interesting to watch and photograph. However there are no outdoor places to sit and enjoy the view. Locals should think of growing more trees around the lake to help fight its dwindling water level.

    May not be worth it
Though the lake was beautiful the place was quite devoid of activities. The boat trip was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. The Ger camp lacked decent toilet facilities. Though the food and service reception wasn't bad. Overall still disappointed.
