Great and accommodating diving experience led by Jess and her fantastic team. As somewhat experienced divers, we weren’t left wanting more from relatively basic dives and ended up enjoying each dive more than the last. The team has great respect for the reefs which is great to see and use their knowledge to find the best dive on each day while also accommodating requests of guests. Bitterly disappointed to have to leave and will be back to dive again as soon as possible! Also a special thanks to Andrea, Azie, Jean-Francois, Matheu, Sam and Olivier for leading us on an awesome diving experience, which I highly recommend! See more..

We chartered Love Mauritius for a private family and friends cruise of 9. It was a great choice! We boarded the boat from a simple public beach and were at the spot for dolphin watching within minutes. There were a lot of boats already out, but luckily our crew had an acute sense of where the dolphins would pop up next and so we had several incredible moments of nose-to-nose snorkelling encounters with these beautiful creatures. The bbq lunch on Ile aux Benitiers included very generous portions of fresh fish and chicken, along with drinks and snacks. All around, a superb day out! See more..

We had a fab time in Mauritius: the island is beautiful and the Mauritians are exceptionally kind and helpful. Anne and Elo from Lokal Adventure were GREAT as they shared their love for the island and looked after us very well. What a team! We booked through the hotel and picked the girls’ activities because they are locals and we liked their take on sustainable tourism; their organisation is top notch and their knowledge of the island meant we could relax and enjoy! The catamaran sunset dinner cruise was amazing but the 7 waterfall walk was the highlight of our trip: the kids loved it and again our guides adapted to our needs and made it fun and adventurous but safe so we could all enjoy fully! We foud a very nice apartment in Point d'Esny through Casanita. Mr. Walther was very kind and efficient in helping us through the whole reservation and payment procedure. The very nice thing is that you can make the payment directly through the Casanita wbsite, which avoids all the bank fuss and works much better. We actually really enjoyed out visit to the Salt Pans. The fee to get in was quite small and there is a shop selling, surprise, surprise amongst other things - salt! We spent about an hour here watching the women ( the men seem to supervise) work and it was fascinating. I took loads of interesting photos. BUT - you have to go early - the work is finished by 10 - I think we went at about 8.30 am - in the summer when it is hot the work starts earlier and finishes earlier. I ofter see people turning up in taxis late morning/early afternoon and there is nothing to see. The attraction is actually the workers rather than the salt pans themselves. See more..

Booked through our hotel, got a taxi VERY early morning but definitely worth it. Unfortunately others getting on the boat were late so we set off after everyone else. Ended up seeing whales and swimming with them!! Unforgettable experience like no other, as I was by myself I was a little nervous about getting in the water (it’s v cold) and Miguel (one of the drivers) was happy to hold my hand which I am very grateful for. Then went and swam with dolphins just as amazing experience would definitely recommend this company!! :)) See more..
