Waterfalls

We had an amazing hike along the 7 waterfalls with Raj. He is a very experienced guide, who told us many things about the plants and the places along the way. We could take a swim in the waterfalls, had a nice lunchbreak with delicious sandwiches and fresh fruits that Raj brought for us. He also took really cool pictures. After the hike he invited us into his home, where his wife prepared local food for us to try and we tried some of the homemade Rum. All in all, it was a perfect day, we would highly recommend Raj as a guide for the 7 waterfalls as he is one of the only ones who takes you to the actual 7 big waterfalls and only guides small groups. A group of about a dozen ranging from teenagers to perhaps 55yrs, also a wide range of physical fitness in the group. The hike is not strenuous, but there are sections of steep descents and climbs that require a bit of agility. The guide was helpful to those in the group that needed a hand. We had a most incredible time with Carine from Dream Dolphin in Mauritius. We were the only boat in a gorgeous location where the dolphins were relaxed and seemingly content for us to be leisurely swimming amongst them. Carine was very knowledgeable about the Dolphins, the Island and a fantastic host. We booked two trips with JPH Charters through Kristelle at La Pirogue, and they did not disappoint. The Dolphin trip was awesome despite the fact that I'm not a strong swimmer the crew were fabulous (10.10.2022) with equipment and very patient. Saw Bottle Nose and Spinner Dolphins really great. The Catamaran Trip is a must again the crew if I could only remember their names on 13.10.2022 were fabulous, sail up relax on deck, view dolphins, snorkel in turquoise seas land a Island for short stay on golden sands. Waited upon hand and foot plentiful drink served and the BBQ prepared on the boat was delicious, the Dolphin Fish (not real dolphin!) was cooked to perfection and so fresh it melted in the mouth, overall a fantastic experience wouldn't hesitate to book again. My Fiancé and I went on the dolphin watching and Ile aux Benitiers trip and it was without a doubt our favourite day of the whole holiday! The entire trip was amazing, and the staff were so friendly and laid back - really adding to the island vibes of the day! The stop for snorkelling and the BBQ in the middle of some of the bluest water I've ever seen was just incredible. Then you sail off to the small market island, with music playing and free beers and rum! What more could you ask for. You arrive and anchor about a mile off Ile aux Benitiers and take a small boat past the beautiful Crystal Rock and to the shore where you have some free time to wander the stalls and swim at the beach, which really looks like a giant swimming pool! DO you want a thrilling water Adventures, do try the jet ski, you wont had so much fun than the other activities!! A warm welcome from the team at their stress-free office, Formalities, payments briefing and distribution of life Jackets are given at the office. A 5 minutes’ walk to the seaside. The Team put you in a boat to the Jet Ski Spot, along a Security boat that takes around 15 Minutes to the Spot (outside the Lagoon). The boats act like a platform where you get on/off the Jets. There is a designated circuit 3.3 KM that was set up in terms of Security, I can say that they are well organised. All was glad to see all the security measures Taken and not to forget that the Jets has security bands, if ever you feel down it cut off the engine immediately and you have a jet that is available in case of any incident occurs or act as lifeguard. We were 6 People, riding for 30 Mins each, I have ride both single and double, but I advise you to book single one, you’ll enjoy the fun. The Team, all I can say is; welcoming, friendly, and courteous, Overall, I was very satisfied. The Jets, well entertained and very good condition. Overall, it was an amazing moment with friends and upon our return we were lucky to view the sundowner. In my personal opinion, the way Sportcraft Enterprises is practicing this activity is that they are respecting the standard, security & law of Mauritius.
