This is a unique product in Mauritius and accessible to all of us (the electric boost on the bicycle helps a lot!!). I had a stunning day today with the Electro Bike team and did the Le Souffleur track. It is a full day filled with beautiful sceneries, some history along the way, meeting the wonderful Mala in her home and eating delicious local food. The team is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. It is a sporty day and you end up cycling 30kms in total. Therefore you have to be a bit fit. But it is not difficult at all thanks to the electric system which you can use through out the day. They also offer two other tracks - Le Morne and Chamarel. We loved this tour. We saw Humpback Whales and Bottlenose and Spinner Dolphins during our sea snorkeling. At the reef we also saw many fish. Nadene was amazing, she fetched and dropped us at our hotel. Darryl was our guide for the day, he was also amazing. We loved the vibe on the boat. The BBQ lunch on Île aux Benitiers was also very nice. We would definitely recommend this tour for anyone going to Mauritius. See more..

Hans and Bento were great. Super helpful, knowledgeable and they really know their way around. We took the half day dolphin and whale trip with some snorkelling on the reef. World of seashells is the only seashell museum in Mauritius, and the largest one in Africa and the South Hemisphere. Its collection consists of 8,000 pieces which belongs to Mr. Le Court de Billot. The exposition consists of shells from all around the world and have been collected by the latter and his parents before him, without harming the environment and the different species of seashells. The Museum offers a lot of activities related to the story, origins, as well as the myths and legends surrounding shells. Enjoying the museum is for everyone! There is the mini laboratory for children, where they can participate in fun and educative activities, such as designing their own shells. Best day ever! Stephano and Denis were extremely professional and fun. We felt safe and we felt they had the dolphins interest at heart equally. (They assured us that the authorities have very strict laws to make sure the wild dolphins are unaffected. Jail sentence for 6 months to anyone caught feeding them for example). They said every day there is a different pod of dolphins (sometimes up to 400) so no singular pod is hassled by boats. The dolphins choose to be there. We saw turtles, learnt about local customs, learnt about local history, tried local rum, and did a spit of snorkelling too. We had done this experience previously but this outfit was far superior. Just returned from 2 weeks in Mauritius staying in Bel Ombre. I hadn't realized there was a Kite Surf school until we arrive and spontaneously decided to book some lessons. The lagoon is shallow and safe and the wind perfect cross shore for beginners to learn, with surf on the reef for the pros! I had 6 lessons with Michael who was fantastic. Very patient, focused on the key things to learn before I could progress. He demonstrated key techniques and then made sure I was getting maximum time with the kite practicing. I have to say as an unfit 60-year-old I was not confident that I would ever get up and ride, but after 6 semiprivate lessons I was riding (reasonably) confidently!! The location, conditions and more importantly the team and equipment were fantastic. Have a go, its fabulous when you get up and ride the water with the kite!! See more..

I’d highly recommend Captain Lobster and his crew for dolphin watching/swimming! Very knowledgable, stayed away from the other boats not to overwhelm the dolphins. One of the guys from the boat went swimming with us. You could hear the dolphins singing under the water. They were swimming around us casually, very relaxed. They were arm stretch close, although we didn’t want to disturb them. It was the most magical experience! The crew helped another boat, who’s engine broke in far from the shore. Then they took us snorkelling in the lagoon, again far from the other boats. We saw lots of fish, even an turtle! We were offered soft drinks on board. Price was the best of all. We’ve paid RUP 4.000 for two of us. The only regret was, we should of done it earlier and at leat twice! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! See more..
