- 5.0 Mary, Gate of Heaven Catholic Church (150 reviews)
-A Community of Caring Experience
Churches & Cathedrals
Enthusiastic parishioners led by a skilled leader, Father Jim, added up to a joyful renewal. These Franciscans have really made a difference to so many and are getting the word out via moving stories of success like that of a young man named "Bam Bam" who is about to attend a university to study architecture. The parish serves meals to children and motivates behavior change with innovative programs like a free bike for records of perfect attendance. In the small world category we sat next to Brother Andy at Sunday Mass. He was visiting from Burlington Wisconsin, the hometown of my wife. Mass is at 10 am on Sunday. Arrive 20 minutes early to enjoy the flavor of the community. Linger after Mass to discover so many interesting and compelling personalities. See more..
- 5.0 Blue Hole Gardens (9 reviews)
-Beautiful gardens
Gardens
Didn't even know this place existed. It is by Roaring River (outside of Savannalamar). Well maintained and peaceful. Great place to have a picnic lunch or an event. I didn't see anywhere to buy food or drink, but it could probably be pre-arranged if you tell them in advance. The attendants were friendly. See more..
- 5.0 Blue Hole Gardens (4 reviews)
-An Amazing Surprise
Saturday: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM Spent 2-3 hours Gardens
I first visited this place over ten years ago and was sad to watch it go unkempt over the years. I was in the area a few weeks ago. I stopped by and was blown away. My only regret was that we didn't pack a lunch and plan to stay the whole day. We enjoyed the blue hole and the river. We could have easily stayed a couple more hours enjoying the lush gardens and the general environment. Next time we'll plan to stay for lunch and bring a book or a journal to get some writing done. See more..

- 5.0 Octavius Art (2 reviews)
-Beautiful hand carved artwork
Spent < 1 hour Art Galleries
I have visited Octavius art on the beach and gallery in the market on several different occasions, and I own a few pieces of his. His wood carvings are carved by himself personally, they're not the standard run-of-the-mill probably imported from China carvings that you see at most places. They are beautifully crafted with details and he can do custom works as well! I've also purchased from him paintings that he sells for his sister there beautiful, often with a strong feminine figure insinuated or portrayed. The beach location is right in front of the Negril Beach Club. You won't regret, no pressure to buy, he's not pushy and really seems to enjoy meeting new people too! See more..
- 5.0 Seven Mile Beach (2 reviews)
-Gorgeous Beach with fun vibes and cool people
Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
We stayed at Sandals 7 Mile Beach several times, loved the resort but also very much enjoyed our daily runs and walks along 7 Mile Beach. So much to see, lots of vendors who are all very friendly and respectful even if you don't want to buy a tour or their merchandise . One of our favourite bands along the beach were SLEDGE, Jason and Garnet, a due that walks along the beach with their guitar and perform their own songs. Super chill, lovely guys, cool look with their hair braided into horns when you see them you know who I am talking about :-). Lots of places along the beach to stop for Coconut water or a Red Stripe, just a fun place to be. The water is very clear and turquoise, on our morning walks we would see sting rays cruise along in the shadow water. See more..

-Thrilling jump, but far off everything
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Caverns & Caves • Hot Springs & Geysers
Blue Hole Mineral Spring sits 24 feet below the ground in a cavernous opening completely encased by Karst limestone. The natural mineral water in the spring is 35 feet deep; However, the edges of the spring are shallow for guests to stand or sit down. Thrill seekers and staff entertain guests with dives only a daredevil can perform. Some guests jump into the spring, others choose to climb in using a safe iron ladder. Guests often enjoy a Blue Hole Mineral massage where staff will purify, exfoliate, and soften your skin. Reviewers sure seem to be pleased with the results. See more..
- 4.5 Bloody Bay (1.045 reviews)
-Good beach
Saturday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM Bodies of Water • Beaches
Decent beach. I was staying at an all inclusive in the area so it was direct access. A fair amount of drug dealers, which some people are interested in. The resort kept most of them off to the side. I didn’t like the market, I don’t like people yelling at me to come buy there trash but it is a decent beach with good water. I walked most of it and didn’t see any urchins or dangerous things that some other people mentioned in reviews. I’d say it’s worth a stop. See more..
- 4.5 Booby Cay Island (516 reviews)
-Nice little uninhabited island
Islands
Our hotel offered shuttles to the island for $20 per person so we decided to head over one afternoon as a mini excursion. We were dropped off and as soon as we arrived on the island, we were offered lobster. Having never had it before, we decided to share one, which was $40. It was picked straight from the sea and tasted incredible. There were a few locals selling other things too, including red stripe for $5 a bottle and fruit. We asked for some coconut water and ended up with $30 worth of mango, pineapple and coconut as the guy wouldn’t take no for an answer. Make sure you take lots of cash as it’s quite expensive, but worth a visit for an hour or two. Note there are no toilet facilities and the sand is very pebbly so no real option to sunbathe, but there are picnic benches See more..

- 4.5 Half Moon Beach (438 reviews)
-A beautiful desert island experience
Beaches
Went on a snorkelling trip then a visit to half moon beach. We were greeted with some rum punch. We then had a lobster dinner (which was included in the price of our excursion). It was a beautiful experience only a handful of people there, crystal clear water and golden sand. no shops or vendors which was bliss. We only got to spend an hour there which was no where near enough time to soak up the experience. If you like to get away from the crowds I would definitely recommend this but I would go for half a day or full day See more..
- 4.5 YS Falls (108 reviews)
-Up close with nature
Spent More than 3 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks • Waterfalls
Visited this beautiful area and we were very impressed with the whole experience. We entered the bottom of the falls and our guide prepared us prior to ascending. Decent footwear is essential as you move over rocks and submerged footing. The guides take your phones and take pics/vids all the way up. As you near the top you are able to get into the water with rope jumps which are real fun. As you climb upwards the zip line sends people down at great speed and you are available to take part for a fee. About 30 mins later you descend back to the start area. Guides are excellent There is a mineral pool to relax in, good toilet and changing facilities. We were given goodie bag with water and snack on leaving. The ride up and down in the little vehicles back to the car parks was fun. Good day out and don't forget a towel and spare clothes. See more..
