    This is one of the best things to experience while in Kingston. Our guide MaryAngela was excellent at winding us through the vast market to sample exotic fruits, local food and other goods. From the tour we were able to gain insight as our guide pointed out the micro economy in place as vendors, farmers and retailers come from all over the island to stay for days to prepare to set up business on a Saturday. The market is open everyday, but it is at it's biggest and best on Saturday. See more..

There is also a beautiful water fountain and plenty of statues where you can read up on the history of enslaved people brought to Jamaica and the contributions of important historical figures. There is security located in the park. I visited at night and felt safe. I would recommend for those in Kingston, Jamaica. It is a nice free activity. See more..

    Before coming to Jamaica I did a little bit of research looking for places that I have not heard of and came across Lime Cay. After seeing a you tube video I was adiment that this was one of the places I'm visiting. As I was driving I could go pretty much where I wanted. So picked up my bag and drove to Port Royal and caught a small cab boat to the islet. To say that the pictures showed its true beauty is an understatement. The waters were crystal clear and the sane was white /golden. There are no amenities here so ensure you have enough provisions for your length of stay. I stayed all day and caught one of the last boats back. This place is just pure paradise and something you could only ever imagine in films... But its real and you can be part of this idillic place Would I recommend this to others HELL YES..... See more..

    The campus al MONA of the University of West Indies is a place to visit while in Kingston. The campus is large, beautiful, with plenty of trees and works of art (sculptures and murals), in the middle of a natural reserve. Within the campus, the Papine-Mona Aqueduct, built by Thomas Hope Elleston in 1758, is a fine example of civil engineering from the 18th century and once served the Hope, Mona and Papine Estates with water from the Hope River. Large sections of the aqueduct as well as the the brick and cut-stone remains of the aqueduct sugar works of Papine Estate (which ended production in 1880) are inside the campus.     We went to the Little Theatre to watch a pantomime called "All Aboard". For the past 77 years the Little Theatre Movement has staged this national pantomime. The pantomime highlights contemporary issues weaving a story of love, drama, comedy, music, and movement. It deals with the plight of the Windrush generation, those Britons of Caribbean extraction who settled in the United Kingdom in the 1940s, 50s and 60s and their children. See more..

    I went to the bath at 8:30 in the morning as it is best to go early to avoid crowd. The private pools are still under renovation so we went into the large pool. Grounds and pool area are kept clean. It is a great spot for locals and visitors. Baths are limited to 45 mins because of the mineral content. I enjoyed it thoroughly. See more..

    Went on this visit as a follower of Marcus Garvey. It’s more of a self guided tour. The person working puts on the 25 min documentary and speeches that follow. You are left alone to watch it and then can roam the exhibits. The exhibit are all multimedia controlled. Great experience See more..
