   Ezekiel's Tomb, located in Al Kifl, Iraq, is believed by Jews and Muslims to be the tomb of the biblical prophet Ezekiel. Today it forms part of the Al-Nukhailah Mosque complex. For religious Jews, it is the oldest and most important Jewish religious site in Iraq. Ezekiel was brought as a slave by Babylonians but he gained trust of local ruler and latter released him and later Ezekiel asked his Jewish people to be released too, that’s why in Arabic called Al-Kifl (the guarantor). As Ezekiel promised to be guarantor for his people. Local admin of the complex are nice and they let us inside to see the place and explained many details. See more..
