Mount Batur, which last erupted in 2000, is located one and a half hours from Ubud by car, and is a popular hiking spot. It’s recommended to make the hour-long climb in the early hours so you can reach the peak in time for sunrise. 9. 4.5 Tibumana Waterfall (190 reviews)
    - A waterfall like no other
    Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls
    Tibumana Waterfall image
We had not planned for this waterfall when we started our day. Our guide Mr. Kadek, from Bali Golden Tour, suggested this place to us, and it was worth every last penny. The waterfall is probably one of the easiest to reach, only a 100 easy steps should take you there, down right in front of the waterfall. The most unique thing about the waterfall is that it falls straight into the ground, no stones or rocks to break the flow. There are a few good restaurants if you want to take some refreshment on your way to the waterfalls. Generally less visited, therefore it is very quite and has enough parking spots. If you want to visit waterfalls, and want to avoid hiking to the falls, this is a must visit place for you. In fact, you will come across some beautiful balinese villages on the way to the waterfall. It is just down the road from Kintamani. There were only a few tourist around and the temple was quite. You need a sarong to enter the temple and its best to buy one, when embarking on a trip to Bali. There are several flights of steps that leads up to the temple. The Candi Bentar is beautiful. In the courtyard, there were rows of old statues and fragments of sculptures kept in the open. Buana Amertha Sari (BAS) image
My family loved this coffee tasting stop as part of the GreenBike Cycling Tour As you sit atop a lush valley, with amazing photo ops, the sampling tray of coffee is expansive and served with a pancake stack which was simply perfect. For around 60,000 IDR (less than $AUD 6) I highly recommend you order a Luwak Coffee here. They set up the brewing in front of you and whilst the coffee is not anything special (like a long black), the experience itself is priceless. The setting was amazing and lush and the decor was perfect for an open restaurant feel above a rainforest. The coffee shop was a bit expensive though, certainly cheaper purchases are found elsewhere, but the experience there is amazing. See more..
