    Latchi Watersports Centre image
Latchi boat hire came as a recommendation of which they were worthy. I originally sent the enquiry via email and this and other emails were responded to immediately, all with a personal touch. We changed the boat we had originally requested to a luxury yacht on the morning of our trip with ease. I had originally requested a self-drive boat but we upgraded to a luxury boat with captain for 4 hours in the afternoon 3-7pm. We got a taxi from Paphos and as soon as we arrived (9 of us), we were greeted and made to feel welcome. Arrangements were made for cool boxes for the extra refreshments that we brought with us. My mum has limited mobility and the staff made sure she was able to get on the boat with ease, helping her every step of the way. We were looked after by John on board who recommended places to go, all of which were a delight. We couldn't have wished for a better day so thank you to all at Latchi water sports for a truly memorable day out. See more..

    - Friendly, efficient and professional first class service.
    Bike Tours
    CWC Pro-Cycling image
I hired a Ribble carbon ultegra for 5 days riding. All arrangements made by email with Alan were clear and precise. Gave key set up requirements and bike was delivered on time set up and needing no adjustment. Bike performed perfectly for me over five days mainly in the hills around Paphos. Circa 40 miles a day and 3000/4000ft of climbing. Cycling condition perfect, road conditions great, quiet roads once you go inland and very respectful drivers. Bike came with 2 x water bottles, footpump, stand, helmet and full repair limit. Also CWC provide mobile assistance if needed. Although I didn't use this it was good to know I was covered if necessary. Also good advise on good areas to cycle. All in all a wonderful experience and hopefully I will be able to repeat again soon. Definitely use CWC again. Big thanks to both Alan and Kirsty. See more..

  9. 4.5 Kato Paphos Archaeological Park (7.682 reviews)
    - Amazing Mosaics
    Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent < 1 hour Ancient Ruins
    Kato Paphos Archaeological Park image
We visited this place. It was truly amazing to see mosaics from around 2- 5 AD and still surviving. I found it strange that more of these mosaics are not covered up. The entrance fee is 2.50 Euros and free to the over 65’s. What a bargain. Look out for the early closing of WC’s. We were leaving the building and several people wanted to use the loo. The park attendants had already locked up well before the closing time of 5 pm and refused to let one young lady use the loo despite her protesting. See more..
  10. 4.5 Paphos Harbour and Port (2.372 reviews)
    - A place to wander around
Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Scenic Walking Areas
    Paphos Harbour and Port image
Th area around the harbour and fort is a good place to people watch and enjoy life. The fort houses an art exhibition made up of items washed up from the sea. Sunset is a good time to visit, at the opposite end from the fort is a lovely statue with a magnificent sea backdrop. Is very busy particularly at weekends snd there are plenty of places to eat and drink as well as the usual tacky seaside de shops. See more..
  11. 4.5 Agios Neophytos Monastery (1.574 reviews)
    - Historic monastery
Spent More than 3 hours Religious Sites
    Agios Neophytos Monastery image
A calm and serene historic monastery located in the hills close to Paphos. We decided to visit as it was 20mins from the town centre and can easily get a taxi to and from there. It's open 6am to 6pm everyday for visits and there's no fee to enter, but visitors need to be respectful while entering buildings where there's a strict no photography policy. You need to wear appropriate clothing and keep noise down. The monastery has a gift shop, toilets and cafe on site if required. Highly recommended for a relaxing visit. See more..
  12. 4.5 The House of Dionysus (1.378 reviews)
    - Amazing mosaics and a 'must' see!!!
Ancient Ruins • Points of Interest & Landmarks
    The House of Dionysus image
The jewel in Paphos' crown, in fact, that should read in the crown of Cyprus! Amazing mosaics that are absolutely stunning! The House of Dionysus is located quite near to the entrance of the archaeological park and it is, on it's own, well worth the entrance fee but that is only 2.50 euro per person. The main part of the House is protected in a building which has been purpose built to stop the archaeology from being ravaged further by the elements. once inside the protective building the visitor walks on a raised level and looks down onto the mosaics. It is well worth spending some considerable time looking and marvelling at the mosaics and there are explanation boards above each mosaics to explain what they represent and the story they tell. There is also a QR code that the visitor can download in order to get an audio guide of the site. See more..
  13. 4.5 Saint Paul's Pillar (1.015 reviews)
    - Something to be seen
    Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Saint Paul's Pillar image
The whole site is worth some time to visit. We were there on a Wednesday morning where we got to listen to the organist playing in the church that morning and later participated in the service. It was very special. The church is shared by the Catholic, Anglican and Greek Orthodox. An unexpected highlight. Also note, it is an interesting walk from kato Paphos to get there. We did a series of churches that morning in the area. Most interesting and enjoyable. See more..
  14. 4.5 Lara Bay Turtle Conservation Station (872 reviews)
    - Quite beach with big waves
    Nature & Wildlife Areas
Lara Bay Turtle Conservation Station image
The Lara Bay Turtle Conservation Station is located on a secluded beach in Paphos, helmed by a dedicated conservation team whose mission is to help baby turtles hatch and make it to sea. The best time to visit is in August when the eggs start to hatch. Keep a lookout for signs along the beach, which mark where the turtle nests are buried in the sand—see if you can spot the baby turtles emerging. Make a day out of your visit with a quad or buggy tour from Coral Bay, which stops at the conservation station before Adonis Baths. – Tripadvisor See more..

What a gem of a place and free to enter. Lovely small church with a lovely atmosphere. Outside the remains are well preserved and information boards are clear and informative. 16. 4.5 Blue Lagoon (605 reviews)
    - Blue Lagoon Review
Friday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Bodies of Water
    Blue Lagoon image
A great spot for a day trip, this shielded bay is one of the biggest lagoons in the Akamas peninsula. Travelers are attracted to its warm crystalline waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling near the reef. You'll have clear views of the sea bed and the marine life that inhabits its waters. It's exceptionally popular in summer, so visit during other parts of the year if you want fewer crowds. The best way to get to the lagoon is by boat from Latchi harbor. Many sunset cruises and day tours from Paphos typically make a stop by the Blue Lagoon, too. – Tripadvisor See more..

    Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery image
Really worth a visit - we actually went to see it while on a tour around Easter and they were getting ready with a flower arrangement. It was so interesting to see. There is also a winery below ground which was where wine was produced in the past so a nice bit of history. Finally, the view is beautiful from here. The monk we met was friendly and happy to answer questions (we asked via our guide who spoke Greek). See more..
  18. 4.5 Avakas Gorge (539 reviews)
    - One of the best adventures in Cyprus
    Canyons • Geologic Formations
    Avakas Gorge image
Trek through the narrow rock walls and soak in the breathtaking scenery of Avakas Gorge. Be prepared to climb over some big rocks and step carefully on slippery stones as the gorge gets narrower. You might even spot mountain goats along the way. The best time to visit is during the spring when the wildflowers are in bloom. Avakas Gorge is also less than 15 miles from Paphos, making it a fantastic day trip from the city. When you're done exploring the canyon, head over to nearby Lara Beach for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. – Tripadvisor See more..
  19. 4.5 Panagia Chrysopolitissa Church (477 reviews)
    - Well worth a visit
    Religious Sites
    Panagia Chrysopolitissa Church image
This church is well worth a visit even if you are not religious and that would be because of the history and archaeology of the place. There is an information board outlining the history and phases of construction as well as pointing out where St Paul was, apparently, tied to a pillar and whipped. There are mosaics and lots of pillars of differing stone and the foundations of an earlier even larger church can be seen. In order to try to protect the mosaics and the church environs a raised walkway has been constructed to take visitors from near the entrance to the site to the church door. Unfortunately, when we visited this walkway was blocked off but no reason was posted on the site to give a reason why that had been done. As a result we were unable to enter the church itself. The area is popular with the local cat population by the way and the seem to be semi feral at least. Finally, there is no charge for visiting the site. See more..
  20. 4.5 Sea Caves (457 reviews)
    - Great little explore
Spent 1-2 hours Caverns & Caves • Geologic Formations
    Sea Caves image
At the seafront of Peyia Village are the Sea Caves of Paphos, natural caves carved into the rock faces along the shore. Swing by early in the morning to see fishermen at work or later in the afternoon for sunset. When the tide is low and the waters are calm, it's possible to swim to some of the caves and archways. Otherwise, you can also explore the caves on a boat tour that may also stop by the Blue Lagoon and Edro III Shipwreck. After exploring the caves, you can stroll along the rocky shore and stop by nearby beaches like Kimera Napoli. – Tripadvisor See more..

Minthis is a beautiful and challenging course that winds its way past a 12th-century monastery with breath-taking views of the Cyprus Troodos Mountains and beyond. The 18-hole championship course boasts outstanding holes where views and vistas are a distinctive feature, organically following the natural undulations of the topography, looping past water features and ancient groves, with hundreds of olive trees, fruit orchards and grapevines with the mountains in the distance beyond. Designed by legendary golf architect Donald Steel in 1994 and renovated by renowned course designers Mackenzie and Ebert, the course is a flawless example of their philosophy that golf courses should fit into the terrain, be in keeping with their setting and focus on the details. In March 2021, Minthis reopened with brand new greens built to sand-based USGA specification standard. See more..

One of the most beautiful trails i've ever hiked. It's indeed intermediate level. Took us (including our 11yr old kid) about 3 hours to do. Stunning views. Make sure to hike it the right way, clockwise. I.e. you start with the steep climb and then gradually decend, facing the Blue Lagoon and the coastline See more..

    Lara Beach image
After a rather long and slow drive down a very bumpy dirt road we reached Lara beach. The first thing you notice is just how peaceful it is, the water is beautiful and clean and the beach itself, though may not be the best beach I'm Cyprus, is still very nice. It's a beautiful experience and being able to educate our little one on the conservation of turtles just added to a wonderful experience, we watched the amazing sunset before setting back on the ling bumpy road. It's worth a visit if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle and arent afraid to venture off the beaten track. See more..

This isn’t our first time visiting the museum and it won’t be our last. Full of beautifully preserved artefacts dating back hundreds of years this place really represents true Cyprus . The museum has lots of sentimental value for us too as we also go married here in 2019, it’s a iconic venue and unlike the forever changing hotels and other venues we home that it stands in time for many many years to come. We were sorry to see that the lovely mother of the museum has passed but we continue to come back and visit her daughter See more..
