  1. 5.0 Pissouri Bay Divers (500 reviews)
    - Highly recommend, fantastic instructors, great value for money.
    Friday: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling
    Pissouri Bay Divers image
A fantastic first dive today. Instructing a group of us, Steve and Evie demonstrated diving for beginners to a great standard having us all confidently swimming amongst a great variety of marine life in no time. Even the more nervous members of the group were soon put at ease with both of their encouragement, reassurance and morale. Overall a great experience, brilliant value for money and the perfect first insight to the underwater life of Cyprus. Big smiles and thumbs up all round, we will definitely be coming back! See more..
  2. 5.0 Exclaim Enduro Tours (425 reviews)
    - Great ride matching my skills!
    Friday: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Adrenaline & Extreme Tours • Motorcycle Tours
    Exclaim Enduro Tours image
I've arranged the ride in the winter with a very short notice, the availability was easy to see on their website and the response time was very quick. After we started the ride, Richard, the guide and instructor, took a look at my skills level and then we went for a 2h loop around the base. That was a perfect combination of single trail and beaten gravel roads. In the end Richard threw in a challenging bit which was beyond my comfort zone and it was so good to get it, which let me understand that I need to train more and more and more! Thanks a lot for the fun time! See more..

Incredible experience completing my PADI open water qualification with some great people. The staff are extremely friendly and enthusiastic. The equipment is top tier and all very well maintained. The course was taught to an extremely high degree and very professionally with no corners being cut. I’ve learned loads and had great fun while doing it. Couldn’t recommend it more. See more..

    Agros Safari image
A must do on any trip to Cyprus! We chose the 4hour option and had never driven a quad bike before. Eliyas the tour guide was great at instructing and health/safety felt comfortable the whole time. Views were great, a novel way to see the Cypriot country side and Agros mountain. Food was great too, plenty of meat, veg and vegan options for the Tavern lunch. Would definitely do it again, other trails were available for return visits. See more..
  5. 5.0 Zambartas Winery (124 reviews)
    - Wonderful relaxing beautiful wines
    Friday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Wineries & Vineyards
    Zambartas Winery image
The Zambartas story is one of following a dream and the pursuit of a deeply held passion for wine. In 2006, Akis Zambartas established the family winery in the Krasochoria Wine Region of Cyprus. Gifted with enormous passion and a long experience in winemaking, he challenged the established wisdom by focusing on making world class Cypriot wines. The story took off further when Marcos decided to pursue his father as a winemaker and went on to study winemaking in Australia. He came back in 2008, with great dedication and new knowledge. Since then Zambartas has collected some of the most prestigious industry awards and we are delighted that people enjoy our wines all over Cyprus and beyond. We welcome visitors to the winery, which is located in Agios Amvrosios in the Krasochoria Lemesou (Wine villages of Limassol), all year around during week days and weekends! See more..

    - Great variety
Spent 1-2 hours Historic Sites • Ancient Ruins
    Kourion image
One gets such a good variety, ie the amphitheater, some mosaics, great sea views, etc. Parking was easy. Adults pay entry while children enter free. For us this was the highlight of the Limassol area. One can go cool off at the Kourion beaches afterwards. See more..
  7. 4.5 Limassol Marina (2.489 reviews)
    - Best marina in cyprus
    Spent < 1 hour Marinas
    Limassol Marina image
Pleasantly surprised by the boardwalk which has beautiful views of the sea. We found parking opposite the beach for about €2 and walked the length of the boardwalk to visit the marina. There were restaurants and cafes to stop for a drink and ice cream and then we visited the castle which is a nice little cultural excursion. Definitely ended up being our favourite marina in Cyprus and well worth the visit. See more..

  9. 4.5 Promenade (1.147 reviews)
    - Nice leisurely stroll along the prom
Points of Interest & Landmarks • Piers & Boardwalks
    Promenade image
Great walk along the promenade today all the way up the harbour. Nice selection of cafes and restaurants, not too overpopulated with them which makes the walk hassle free. Shame about the bits of litter strewn on the rocks but that didn't detract from the pleasant walk. Artwork/sculptures add focus points along the way but the Mediterranean as the backdrop and the cooling breeze it offers is the main draw. If you are Limassol and want to while away an hour or two then you could do a lot worse than take a stroll along the Prom! See more..
  10. 4.5 Kourion Beach (537 reviews)
    - Beautiful beach, authentic Cyprus
    Beaches
    Kourion Beach image
We often visit our family in Cyprus and a visit to Kourion Beach is always on the agenda. We eat at the Blue Beach restaurant/bar and then sunbathe and swim the afternoon away. When we bring new visitors to the island with us, we go to the Kourion City ruins on the hilltop. The views are magnificent, and the ruins are expansive. Over the years they have been improved with boardwalks, better explanations etc, but they can still improve on these. It costs $4 per adult, children are free. The site closes at 7pm. See more..
  11. 4.5 Caledonia Waterfalls (505 reviews)
    - Easy trail to waterfall
    Waterfalls
    Caledonia Waterfalls image
You can make this trek as a linear trek leaving the car Psilo Dento where is a small car park or you can do the trail from Troodos square but then you need a transport back. I did the linear trek. Depends on your fitness level you can climb up not too steep trail following and crossing the river in 30-45 min (1.5 KM). Be advised some parts can be slippery. The fall is high about 30 meters. Nice natural trail through the shade of the trees. See more..
  12. 4.5 Kykkos Monastery Troodos (393 reviews)
    - Beautiful Monastery in a great mountain location.
    Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Kykkos Monastery Troodos image
This is worth a visit even if you aren't religious. It's way up in the Troodos mountains, which in itself is a great scenic drive and a little cooler than on the beaches. Entrance is free and there is ample parking available. Some beautiful paintings and an absolutely stunning church. Allow around 45 mins, possibly more if visiting the museum for which there is a small entrance fee. Toilets are available and free. See more..

    - Nice trails to trek
    Spent 2-3 hours Mountains
    Troodos Mountains image
I decided to explore Troodos on my own rather to take the tour. Easily manageable to do same trekking, seeing monastery or local villages. Only if you are driver you can not make a wine tasting in Omodos (in Cyprus is nearly 0 tolerance The maximum legal level of alcohol in the blood for driving in Cyprus is 0.049%. I parked the car for free on the parking lot as on the main road no parking allowed and started easy Persophone Trail, the easiest one, it is linear trail each way 3 KM /30-45 min and nearly flat surface through the pine forest with some small boards describing the trees on the trail. At the you reach a lookout, sit on the bench and enjoy amazing view of Troodos mountain and closed asbestos mine at Pano Amiantos. After the trail on the way for another short trail to Caledonia Waterfalls I stopped at Troodos Monastery for 10 minutes. Cyprus Historic & Classic Motor Museum image
Located in Limassol in a spacious 3000 square meters, you will admire Classic, Historic and Collectible Cars. The "Cyprus Historic and Classic Motor Museum" is a remarkable home for classic cars with highlights of their historical and emotional value. Visitors can admire the museum's eclectic collection of cars covering the period of the last century. The museum highlights the cultural importance of the development and growth of the automobile industry. The oldest car in the collection at the moment is a Ford "T" roadster from 1912, which currently has 102 years of life on the road. The newest vehicle is a collectible piece from 2004. Each visitor can enjoy a different yet memorable experience learning the progress of the vehicles through the passage of time. The founding of the museum is due to the vision of veteran Rally Racing champion of International and Cypriot rally competitions, Mr. Dimi Mavropoulos. He gave his personal collection of historic, classic and collectable cars and launched this museum especially for their display. The Museum features a classic car rental service with a driver. You can enjoy special moments of your life whilst tootling along in an historic and unique classic car. This is an ideal choice for weddings, tours of the city of Limassol or even for those times when you feel like doing something different! In awareness of social responsibility, part of the proceeds from the entrance tickets of the museum will be given to charitable and philanthropic institutions. See more..

  18. 4.5 Timios Stavros Monastery (178 reviews)
    - Lovely Holly cross monastery
Spent 2-3 hours Churches & Cathedrals
    Timios Stavros Monastery image
This great monastery was founded in 1592 by the monk Nilus. The stone monastery, considered one of the oldest and most historic monasteries on the island of Cyprus. In the center of the complex stands the Church of the Holy cross. The part of the monastery is the remarkable two-story museum. I liked the museum room of Byzantine icons representing a vast collection of icons and Church utensils. The northern part of the monastery used to be where the monk cells, Synod and guest rooms were located. After you finish the monastery visit, spend stroll the small alleys to visit shops or the old wine press. There are many shops with some of the best local Cypriot handmade products and wine. There are many wineries with wine tasting around. You can get here as the part of the tour, by car of one of the buses (Bus No. 40) from Limassol city center bus station Old hospital (Leontiou EMEL Central bus station) to the bus stop in the village of Omodos, a 10-minute walk from the monastery. 21. 4.5 Agia Napa Cathedral (140 reviews)
    - I like this
    Churches & Cathedrals
    Agia Napa Cathedral image
Cathedrals and churches vary in the way that they appeal to me. This one certainly does. It is beautiful, without being over presented. It is not covered in gold and icons, but its size enables it to have these things without swamping itself. Very clean and well presented. Its stained glass windows are lovely, even if simplistic. A place of serenity and thought. See more..
  22. 4.5 Artemis Nature Trail (127 reviews)
    - Artemis Trail review
    Hiking Trails
    Artemis Nature Trail image
We visited mount olympus in the beginning of september. Mount Olympus is the biggest mountain of Cyprus, so standing on this mountain is fascinating on it’s own. You have a mountaintrail called Artemis trail which leads you around the top of the mountain. This trail is 7km. The views you will have are breathtaking. It’s sometimes difficult to see all the arrows, so we recommend to use a hiking app like Komoot to make sure to stay on track. See more..

So much fun, well set up, safe, great staff. 13 of us came for a work team day out. Was amazing , after being kitted up in our safety kit and given our demo and instructions. Then let loose. 24. 4.5 Trooditissa monastery (105 reviews)
    - A Significant Monastery for Christians!
    Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Trooditissa monastery image
Found in the slopes of the Troodos Mountain range, it is a 13th century monastery with monks and is surrounded by pine trees, vineyards, chestnut trees and natural beauty. The present church was built in 1731 and contains a priceless silver-leaf covered icon of the Virgin Mary brought from Asia Minor, believed to give childless couples hope if they pray to her. The monastery is a retreat for prayers, and as such it is closed for visits, although the church is open to visitors. It is in short proximity to the village of Platres and Prodromos but you have to come in your own car as there is no public transportation access here. It keeps its doors closed on public holidays, it is free to enter but you have to show respect and dress appropriately if you are to visit. It is open daily from 09:00 - 12:00 / 14:00 - 16:00 (church only) Wheelchair accessible. See more..

Painted Churches in the Troodos Region image
We underestimated the time it takes to get from one church to the next and would recommend choosing around three of them for a day trip if you are based at the coast. Otherwise consider staying in the mountains for a day or more if you want to visit more of the 10 UNESCO churches. Also take note that fuel is not readily available in most of the mountain towns. We nearly got stranded, but found one of the only petrol stations in Pedoulas. That being said, one had to visit at least a couple of these churches when in Cyprus. Really unique and free to enter as well. See more..

    - Excellent experience if you are a wine lover, nature (and cheese platers :D )

    Lambouri Winery image
Must admit, me and my wife felt awesome! Staff hospitality and knowledge about wines is perfect! Definitely will come again with the family! Went there with my wife and we was warmly welcomed by two staff members from Romania. Dragosh presented the winery very warmly and professionally and after we enjoyed excellent wine tasting accompanied with a delicious cheese platter. Must admit, since i am drinking wine, i never met someone like him with such a vast culture regarding wine! See more..
  28. 4.5 Tsiakkas Winery (90 reviews)
    - Great winery
    Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
    Tsiakkas Winery image
Tsiakkas winery is found in Pelendri, in the region of Pitsilia. It’s vineyards are also found in the same region. The dry climate of the region in combination with the unique geology, constitutes basic factors for the production of exceptional wines. The cold winters and the cool summertime are ideal for the production of quality grapes, an essential condition for quality wines. Supported by its tradition, the enthusiasm, the love for the wine and the hard work to acquire the know-how, the winery achieved the production of premium wines, for which the care begins from the vineyard. From the highest vineyards of Agros village, with an altitude of 1500 meters, to Petralona. And from Keramis microclimate to the unique characteristics of Agios Ioannis vineyards, the winery combines the best characteristics of the varieties, producing not only wines but also Commandaria and Zivania, with character and intense personality. Tsiakkas winery, not only gives attention to quality, but also has as priority the distribution and culture of indigenous varieties of vine and production of wines combining the tradition and the modern know-how. From the Cyprus varieties it produces Xynisteri, Bambakada (Maratheftiko) and Yiannoudi. Also Commandaria and red Zivania. From the international varieties, it produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. See more..
  29. 4.5 Lania Village (84 reviews)
    - Lania village
    Historic Sites
    Lania Village image
A walk through Lania village should definitely be on the itinerary of anyone visiting the Limassol district. There are artist studios, an old wine press and an olive oil museum. It has a lovely church in the centre and many beautiful old stone houses. There are at least two tavernas in the village but the best place for a refreshment and snack must be Christos' bar -with good, friendly service and a lovely shady terrace one can catch ones breath [as well as use the wi-fi if you need to stay in touch]. See more..
  30. 4.0 Limassol Castle (1.192 reviews)
    - Nice Castle, expensive entrance
    Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality Museums • Castles
    Limassol Castle image
We visited here after a nice walk along the boardwalk. Entrance fee was €4.50 each which was quite steep considering the place is very small. The staff weren’t exactly friendly when we arrived which put us off a bit but as we were already there we decided to not pay them any mind. It was a hot day but inside was even hotter. They have 1 small fan upstairs for slight relief but it doesn’t make much difference. The castle is split on levels and there are some narrow abs uneven steps so I’m not sure it’s accessible friendly throughout. There are steps to the rooftop which has a lovely view across Limassol and great for taking some pictures. See more..
