Exception day out. Would highly recommend
Latchi boat hire came as a recommendation of which they were worthy. I originally sent the enquiry via email and this and other emails were responded to immediately, all with a personal touch. We changed the boat we had originally requested to a luxury yacht on the morning of our trip with ease. I had originally requested a self-drive boat but we upgraded to a luxury boat with captain for 4 hours in the afternoon 3-7pm. We got a taxi from Paphos and as soon as we arrived (9 of us), we were greeted and made to feel welcome. Arrangements were made for cool boxes for the extra refreshments that we brought with us. My mum has limited mobility and the staff made sure she was able to get on the boat with ease, helping her every step of the way. We were looked after by John on board who recommended places to go, all of which were a delight. We couldn't have wished for a better day so thank you to all at Latchi water sports for a truly memorable day out.

Great way to learn to sail with an RYA-accredited centre - in the sun!
My husband and I were keen to find a place in Cyprus that would provide RYA accredited dinghy sailing courses. We have recently moved to the South Coast of England but it seemed like a much better idea to learn how to sail in the warm waters of Cyprus! We booked onto the RYA ' Start Sailing' Level 1 course at the Latchi Watersports Centre that is based on Anassa Beach, close to the Anassa Hotel. I believe it is the only RYA-accredited centre on the island. We spent a very enjoyable 2 days learning the ropes (quite literally - or should that be sheets?) with our instructor, Callum. The whole team were incredibly friendly and helpful but we were very impressed by Callum's knowledge and excellent teaching skills. What marked this style of learning out was that Callum was in the dinghy with us as we learned, unlike other centres where instructors are in their own boat and can often be in charge of many, many students. The Level 1 group lessons at Latchi are for a maximum of 4 people per instructor and for that reason the level of support and individual attention is really impressive. This method of teaching allowed us to gain in confidence very quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Latchi Watersports based on this very positive experience. We are already planning to book onto the Level 2 course in October when we return to Cyprus. The prices are slightly higher than the equivalent costs in the UK but the excellent student to instructor ratio makes the difference well worth it. Thanks to Callum and the Latchi team we now feel confident on the water and look forward to building on our knowledge and skills.
