The best thing. about our charter was our crew! Capt Alec was an extraordinary sailor and an engaging human. From the moment we boarded the boat it was obvious that our safety was his main concern. Between Alec and Johnnie (our mate) I felt we were being watched over like a mother lion watches her cubs. Both the crew members were personable and had a good sense of humor. They were not intrusive but ever-present. They were able to accommodate our wishes rapidly and effectively. We sailed an Ipanema 58. The boat was in fair shape and fit our 8 people and crew comfortably. Overall a great time! See more..
