Things to do & places to visit in Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
Life is just a little bit slower on Virgin Gorda, so named because this British Virgin Island resembles a large reclining woman. The laid-back pace of the island is the perfect excuse to take your time, whether you’re wading along the granite grottoes of The Baths, doing some casual snorkeling in Devil’s Bay, or exploring the stone ruins of a 19th century Copper Mine. We just spent part of our last week diving with Becca and Rupert. What a great time! We have been diving all around the Caribbean (and other parts of the world) and our experience with Becca/Rupert rates up there with the best. The dive briefings, their attention to safety, the dives themselves pointing out interesting marine life, the attention to our gear between dives and then again at the dive shop are to be commended! True concierge diving. If in the BVI and considering scuba diving, we cannot recommend this dive company enough! See more..

My mother and I spent an incredibly fun day on our snorkeling trip! Elaine took great care of us and was especially wonderful with my elderly mother, who was a bit nervous about snorkeling. Elaine took us to a beautiful, secluded area where we were the only ones snorkeling. We saw a variety of colorful coral and fish, and we even saw a stingray!! Wow!! It was a special experience for us, the type of memory we want to keep making more of. There’s no doubt that we’ll go on another fun-filled adventure with Elaine the next time we’re on the island. I highly recommend BVI SNUBA because you’ll have a fabulous time with Elaine, a true professional who makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step on board the boat and ensures your safety and well-being throughout the trip. Great views of the islands in the area! This sign has bright artwork on it as of May 2022. Head up the street to Hog Heaven for a beer or drink great burgers, and BBQ items. - 5.0 Virgin Gorda Murals (1 review)
-Nice Murals & Cool Local Art
Points of Interest & Landmarks
We came across these murals during our first day drive to the Baths - it's impossible to miss them as heading south on the one and only road leading to the Devil's Bay National Park you will be seeing them on the left . W returned another day for a quick stop - there are actually quite many walls here with different types and styles - some are just art, some a tribute... definitely worth a stop especially if you are staying on Virgin Gorda and drive yourself around the island. TIP: they start around Pablo's Place restaurant and continue for a while if you want the exact map location since there is no actual address here so you can use Pablo's as a reference point on Google maps See more..

- 4.5 The Baths (2.870 reviews)
-A natural wonder in a beautiful setting
Points of Interest & Landmarks • Beaches • Geologic Formations
The Baths at Virgin Gorda is a natural wonder, featuring boulders and caverns that make up a maze that leads to secret rock pools and the famous Cathedral Room, a natural pool inside a small cave. At the end, reward yourself with a relaxing time on the beautiful beach at Devil's Bay, or some swimming and snorkeling. You can also take in the stunning view from the Top of the Baths restaurant. To get there, join a small-group tour or take a chartered boat. Try to avoid the hurricane season and visit early in the morning or in the late afternoon for fewer crowds. – Tripadvisor See more..
- 4.5 Saba Rock (191 reviews)
-The Saba Rock is a unique experience
Points of Interest & Landmarks
It is a very unique experience dining or have cocktails at Saba Rock because the resort takes up the entire rock island. Since being rebuilt because of the hurricane. Saba is accessible by boat only which in itself is unique. We made reservations and arrived 45 min early for a cocktail and view the resort and sunset from the upstairs bar. Afterwards we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant downstairs which is open air with beautiful furnishings. My Mahi Mahi was great and the service was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 hours on Saba Rock and recommend it if in the BVIs. See more..
