Gili Trawangan Island, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

Small smakefree exciting paradise
The islands are a popular destination for tourists. Gili Trawangan is the largest and most popular of the 3 Gilis, thanks to its well-established infrastructure that preceded the other two islands in the group. Each island has several small resorts, usually consisting of a collection of huts for tourists, a small pool and restaurant. Most local inhabitants live on Trawangan in a township stretching along its east side just inland (which is also where most recent development is taking place). Automobiles and motorized traffic are prohibited on the islands by local ordinance, so the preferred method of transportation is by foot and bicycle or the horse-drawn carriage. The main coast near the harbour gets you closer to the ‘castaway’ style nightlife, while those on the secluded western shore offers peace and tranquillity for honeymooners and couples.

Exciting destinations ee overlooked
We have been to Bali countless time ywt never had the resolve to make a trip to the other smaller out lying islaznds. This time we made it to Nusa Penida and trio Gili Islands of Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air.. The three were covered in a 4 hours snorkeling group trip that cost Rp125000 per pax with equipment. No discount for using own equipment. Gili T is the main vubrant island which is commonly labelled as Party Island. Its main action are in the East with magnificent sunrise and daily partying till late. The West has beautiful sun set with many beautiful hotels. If you wabt peace and quiet but limited choice for foof then stay at the West. Or stay at the East and cycle to the West for sun set and back to the East for some action whether live music by beach front dining or all night long bar hopping and dancing clubs that line the beach. Truly enjoyable. Minimum of two nights stay recommended and longer to spce out your activities. It can be asclam or wild as you choose to be. I shall return very add soon for some calm and sporadic wildness.

Gili Trawangan Hiking Trails + Recovery
Gili Trawangan is a paradise island perfect for sunbathing, relaxing, and watching spectacular sunsets. But for all, you just need more becareful and negotiate with the proper representative offering their packages. Me and my friends taking a speedboat from Kenchinan to Gili Trawangan. Then we took snorkeling packages. Luncis h not good and not cheap. However, overall still okay within my range of budgets. For foreigners, you just need to search for more reasonable prices for each attraction package along the beach. Either you may get higher or lower with the same services. Cheers!
