Gili Meno is gorgeous - go to Gili Sunset for the best views!
I stayed at Gili Meno Sunset which is the quiet side of Gili Meno. Stunning views of the sunset over Gili T. The next hotel is about a 5 minute walk. There is a pool available or terrific surf and snorkelling. I loved waking up to the sound of the sea. The staff are beautiful and from neighbouring Lombok. They practiced their English with me and I practiced saying Terimah Kasih! Super friendly people. The room did not have a T.V, the resort was still getting furnished after earthquake that rocked Lombok and neighbouring islands. The food at Gili Meno Sunset was largely western and fried. It would be great to offer local dishes but the fruit was lovely and I can't fault the lovely staff who gave me such a warm welcome.

Beautiful island shame about the plastic and coral graveyard
After Gilli T this was a welcome change. Lovely people much quieter island, lovely place to chill. Plenty of places to eat and drink along with deserted beaches. The amount of dead coral on the beaches along with rubbish and plastic etc on the beach and in the sea is heart breaking. Not just this island it’s across the board We collected a lot of plastic up off the beach and from the sea when we went out on the boats People who do the trips should educate people picking plastic up out of the sea, save the turtles and fish and to NOT touch or stand on the coral There is that much dead coral they use it as chippings Transport is pony n trap which I don’t agree with, bicycle or walk. We done the latter. It was great wandering around the island stopping for a drink on the way
