Amazing walking tour in Tetebatu
Edi is such a fun, talented and amazing guide. He provided a 3 hour tour through the rice fields of Tetebatu for a very reasonable price. He showed us all the fruits and crops that are grown in Tetebatu and surrounding area and a beautiful waterfall. He is so knowledgeable and impressed us with his excellent English. He is also a keen learner of German - so make sure you chat to him in German, if you speak German. At the end of the tour, you can buy local spices of Edi. You can also eat at his place.

Essential Experience if Visiting Tetebatu
Edi had great English and brought me around town. He allowed me to stay in attractions as long as I wished, and was accommodating to a last minute tour. You absolutely need to get a guide around here to find the best spots and because you will be walking on private land. Edi is well known with the locals around town and when accompanying him, it felt safe and non-intrusive towards locales. The Tour lasted about 3-4 hours and included walks to local rice paddies, walks to 2 waterfalls and a local optional swimming hole. A showcase of local herbs, fruits, produce, and ingredients His tour includes a meal at his wife’s restaurant Octavia Warung, it was also a culinary treat. If you can handle it, ask her to make the local Lombok Chili sambal for you. It packs quite a punch and comes served on a fresh ground stone bowl.
