Interesting visit - must see for Tintin fans
This is the best place to visit for Tintin fans and yet we felt, the entire experience and history of Herge and Tintin could have been told slightly better. We visited on the first Sunday of the month when the visit was free, though we did pick up audio guides. Loved the facilities within the museum and the polite, helpful staff. The travel to the museum though was a little complicated, what with changing trains at Ottignes, where we almost got onto a train for Louvainne. Be careful to get onto the S8 for Louvain - La - Nueve. Takes an hour each way so plan well.

Must be done if in Louvain la Neuve
This museum was designed to only exhibit Hergé memorabilia. The building is worth a visit on its own. The exhibits are well presented. The little restaurant has very pleasant staff and the dish of the day good value.
