Really stand out church

Absolutely stunning! This church really stands out for its beauty and rich history, as soon as you lay eyes upon it, it seduces you and demands your attention. Inside it’s even more outstanding! I’d love to go up to the balconies and see the view from there. The stained glass is very impressive and really, it’s hard for pictures to do it justice. Well worth the trip and it’s right across the river from the train station so it’s very accessible.

Stations of the cross live up to expectations
The exterior is underwhelming compared to the pictures we saw before coming to Dinant. It really is rather drab. The interior is nice enough and very spacious - good job. Some good artefacts and some not so good artefacts. The shiny gold bust is the gem. A nice enough prayer room and space to light some prayer candles (one candle big enough for properly big requests to the man upstairs!). Odd use of straw chairs throughout, rather than the traditional pews enjoyed throughout most of Europe. However, the stations of the cross lived up to expectations. Truly brilliant depictions of a sad part of human history. We came back for additional photos.

Nice church
A nice church located across from the river Muese with a mountain as a backdrop. It can clearly be seen from the view up the top of the Dinant Citadelle and from the cable car that takes you up there. There is no cost involved to go inside and have a look, the interior is quite nice with stained glass windows that show scenes from the bible. The church itself has been reconstructed a couple of times due to damage received during both WW1 and WW2. Good for a quick visit before heading up to the citadelle
