There are very many activities in Visulahti: a campsite, a swimming beach, cottages, holiday houses, saunas, frisbee golf, tennis, beach soccer, beach volley, mini-golf, pedal boats, Wax Cabinet, museum cars, Dinosauria Water and Activity Park (three medium-sized water slides, a swimming pool, a steam room, many activities, suitable for all ages), HyperDino indoor playing area (for children under 12 years) and Xon-Park (for teens and adults). There is a lot of choice in activities (especially for children aged 4-10 years) but unfortunately many small details are a bit worn out and run-down. Xon-Park is the new part for teens and adults: bungee jumping, catapult jumping, rodeo, sumo wrestling, paintball, go-karts, water balls, mega trampoline, gladiator battle etc.See more..

We rented two canoes from Oravi company. One for two and one for three. We went the Koloveden kierros which was about 30km long. We started and finished from Kirkkoranta. There was self-service pickup for canoes and kayaks. You have to reserve the canoes first and pay them online. The campsites during the route were excellent. I've been around Finland in different campsites but these were in top three. All of them have fireplace, tentplaces, outdoor WC (huussi) & woods. It is forbidden to camp anywhere else than campsites. Next to the natural beauty of Saimaa this place was the next best place we visited, only €5 admission the gardens/arboretum are truly beautiful, lovely to wander round on a sunny day, and theres also a few animals wandering round (peacocks/chickens/ducks/rabbits and huge pig! although hes kept in a pen). Its a well kept little place well worth a visit and i'll visit again when we're in the area. Would be better if there was a little cafe selling drinks as it was a hot day a cold drink would have been nice - although there seemed there was a kiosk there, we're not sure if it was just closed or shut down.See more..
