We visited here as part of a group tour on a Danube river cruise. Lovely church to visit. Really ornate. Look out for the crucifix in the grounds outside which has been sculpted using discarded guns and ammunition. Very moving. See more..

A very beautiful castle with interesting exhibits on three floors. The castle is well maintained, and the exhibits are very interestingly presented. Outside, various bridges are placed around the castle, each with its own content. See more..

Visiting Lipik is special and unique. The town of Lipik is known for two things: the State Stud Farm Lipik ( Drzavna Ergela Konja Lipik ) and the thermal springs ( spa and bath). The most famous building in Lipik is certainly the Kursalon (Spa salon) , once a famous and luxurious spa, recognizable by the buildings housed in a large park. It was a meeting point for entertainment, almost a copy of the one in Vienna City Park and one of the most beautiful buildings of its kind and purpose in the rest of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. In addition to the Viennese waltzes, the Italian belkanto, a selection of a women's tamburitza orchestra from Zagreb, and the music of gypsy violins from Pest could be heard in Kursalon. Unfortunately the once famous Kursalon was destroyed in the war and has not yet been rebuilt. The part which is in operation is the Kur Hotel and the spa with thermal springs. History is rich and still in the memory of the older locals. The spa began to be built since 1870 with the opening of three hotels and related facilities. In 1885 the spa was sold to Joseph Deutsch and Ernest Schwimmer from Budapest. they invested considerable money in advertising and in the construction of new buildings. The final appearance of the Kursalon (spa) was given in 1893 when it was decided to build a new representative building with a resort, a restaurant, a cafe, a spacious ballroom, a casino ... The largest reconstruction was made with the construction of the new Lipik Hotel in the 1980s. Today, there is located famous quality Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation and the spas and baths. We hope that Kursalon will shine again in full splendor as soon as possible. See more..
