    Penang Bird Park image
The park is filled with a wide range of birds, especially those found locally in Malaysia. Some storks roam freely. There are some deers (including sang kancil), crocodiles and rabbits. All these animals are lively and seemed well cared for. The surroundings are spacious and shady for one to take a rest. Spent the morning hours observing and admiring these creatures and felt it was really worth it. The half-hour bird-show was informative, especially to the children who were present. The toilets are clean. However, i think due to funding constraint, the place is rather basic and old. See more..
