Heading north from Bo Kluea on 1081, about 10 kilometers out you will see a well paved road to your right that leads to the village of Sapan. Reaching the Sapan waterfalls, the trail to which starts at the car park on the right side of the highway, involves a lot of up and down and through the woods before you reach the lowest of the falls. Expect it to take 20 minutes at a steady pace in both directions.. The falls are not spectacular, but the trek gives you a good feel for just how green this part of Thailand really is. Sapan itself is one of the most serene villages in the province, and the scenery is simply spectacular. We spent an entire day here, and did not regret a minute of it. See more..
