What a gem of a park! This is a wonderful place to spend the day, there is so much space and activity options. This park is CLEAN!! The bathrooms, playgrounds, walking trails, all very clean and taken care of. I have been many times over the past few months (various times of day) and have not noticed any of the local vagrants loitering in the park, trashing things, looking for handouts. The staff do a wonderful job maintaining a great, family atmosphere in this park!See more..

We found this park by accident after walking through Inverness. There was plenty of places to sit and enjoy our picnic. People were so friendly and kept stopping for a chat. They could not understand why English people were there, as Inverness is not a tourist area. The water was very clear and we saw many turtles and fish. The boardwalk was very well maintained and obviously a pleasant place for the locals.See more..
