Dragon Boat Festival

Wallace Brooks Park is an excellent venue for a Dragon Boat Race and Festival. The bathrooms are clean and Wallace Brooks Park is beautiful. The lake is gorgeous and is perfect for dragon boat racing.

    Pleasant rest stop
    We stopped by after walking a bit of the Withlacoochie State Trail and were quite surprised to find a park with clean restrooms,benches and picnic tables. There is also a parking lot adjacent and a short walk on a nearby boardwalk leading to nearby Cooter Pond.

    Nice Park at the Lake
    A nice area to relax and watch the boats on the water. Need more picnic tables in the shade to accommodate more people. We could not find a table to eat our picnic lunch but was able to walk and enjoy the pier and the boardwalk.
