Lovely afternoon for a picnic.
We found this park by accident after walking through Inverness. There was plenty of places to sit and enjoy our picnic. People were so friendly and kept stopping for a chat. They could not understand why English people were there, as Inverness is not a tourist area. The water was very clear and we saw many turtles and fish. The boardwalk was very well maintained and obviously a pleasant place for the locals.

Beautiful
A Very lovely park. Fantastic walking path. Clear blue water. The only setback was that it was a very hot day. Would like to go back when the weather is cooler !

Nice Area
Nice area at the lake. We were hunting for a picnic table in the area and did find one at the park down by the lake that had a covered umbrella. Only two of them there and we were lucky to get one that had a little shade from the umbrella. Such a nice area that more covered tables could be provided.
