    Arrive using Train from Hong Kong Island! During weekdays it is less crowded than weekends. My suggestion is go by cable car and then you decide if you return by cable car or bus. Bus is cheaper but takes around 50 mins while cable it is only 35 mins. Arrive early! if you want to take pictures to big buddha with too many people. To go to Tai O, you can take the bus from the big buddha, just be aware, buses are small and sometimes there is a big line and the bus departs every hr. you can go by yourself or by tour. See more..
