Doupotang Waterfalls is located 1 km upstream of Huangguoshu Falls in Guizhou Province. It has a width of 105 meters and a height of 21 meters, making it the widest waterfall in the Huangguoshu Falls group. Water flow is usually not large, and the water is clear. As the flood season approaches, the river water is likely to carry a lot of sediment washed down by the flood, causing yellow turbidity, and will disappear from view when the usual flat-water show prevails, thus becoming unusually fierce and majestic.

Smaller Waterfall
When to see the GrandWaterfall at Huanguoshu. This waterfall is on the same site it is less busy. I also saw some wildlife there a group of Herons and some little lizards see photo on the main waterfall review.

Beautiful waterfall and since you are already here
You should visit this waterfall before the Huangguoshu Waterfall and this is the appetizer. Otherwise this may not be too exciting. It is a beautiful fall and the walks are nice and less crowded. Enjoy the birds in the area too.
