Seven small arches (aka 小七孔,xiaoqikong) is a surprising discovery in South of Guizhou, Libo county. The park is huge, I would recommend scheduling 2 days there to visit it. There is a lot of different landscaped in the park : Cascades, rivers, caves, lakes, forests, ... And you will never be bored by all these natural wonders ! Also the parks offer some additional experience on the side: boats, rafting, ... Last but not least, you will find few services worth to be mentioned : bus network to travel from one side to another, few restaurants along the paths, public toilets pretty clean, ... Take your time and enjoy these UNESCO world heritage with your friends or family. See more..
I visited this place 20 years ago and found it completely different today. Water becomes dirtier and people less kind. First of all, they made the place for making money but not a pleasant visit. The entry ticket is expensive in Chinese standard but after that you need to pay for each step you are taking - for taking a ridiculous artificially docorated lift, for going to the Tiger Cave. The Dragon Palace is special as it is known as a water cave where you need to take a boat to visit. the boat is quite speedy, so you do not have time to admire the landscape. The Zhijin Cave is much better is you wish to visit a cave in the province which is known for the Kaster shape. If you visit Huangguo Tree Waterfalls, you could go the cave which is 20 KM far from the Waterfalls. Otherwise, it is not worth of a deliberate visit only for this.See more..
4.5Zhijin Cave of Guizhou(49 reviews) - Awesome Cavern Sunday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Caverns & Caves
This is a beautiful cavern to see. To walk through it is about 4km with a total up and down of 40 stories, so be in shape! Can get crowded, but worth it. Lots of spots inside to stop, rest, take photos. Just be prepared for lots of walking, including upto it, but well worth the effort.See more..
5.0Shuanghe Cave of Suiyang(4 reviews) - A superb network of caves for all levels. Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Caverns & Caves
I’ve been to a LOT of caves in my day, and these ranked among the best. First, I was with my wife, so there was no climbing or dangerous stuff. There were hardly any other people, which is always nice. There really were 2 caves near to each other. The other called “Underground Crack” was more amazing than the first one called Shuanghe Cave. Huge chambers, Curtains, stalactites and stalagmites along with most other cool things found in a cave. There are caving lessons that one can take which explore other areas as well. If you are already in this part of China for the scenery, then you’ve got to visit these caves. The entry fees were 210 rmb per person which included both caves. Not cheap, but we’ll worth it after all as you’ll get your money’s worth. It takes a couple of hours to walk though each if you take your time. Howard S.See more..
