better to have 2days visit but we just do 1day as time issue that has so rush but quite impressive still. many place for visit and landscape also air is clean. hidden gem. good for visit. summer time maybe more water and blue sky but water may not green/blue like that. depends on diff situation and seem quite crowded at summer. so that winter is good for visit i think.See more..

This place reminded me of the Chocolate Hills of Bohol and it is just as stunning. During the Ming Dynasty some 600 years ago, the great Chinese traveler Xu Xiake visited this location. Guizhou Guanling Fossil Group National Geological Park is located in Guanling County in southwestern Guizhou. The main scenic area consists of three in situ conservation exhibition halls as well as a fossil museum, which mainly displays Guizhou ichthyosaurs, Anshun Huangguoshu ichthyosaurs and Hu's Xinpu ichthyosaurs in situ; the museum displays dozens of fossil specimens of ichthyosaurs, sea dragons and sea lilies. The Guanling Fossil Group was formed in the early Late Triassic Gulf environment 220 million years ago. The fossils of marine reptiles and sea lilies are huge in number, diverse and well preserved, which are rare in the world for the same period of stratigraphy, and are considered world-class.See more..
