   We saw the entrance to the Gorge from our cruise ship. But there is an even better view from the White Emperor City, Baidicheng if your cruise ship offers this as a tour option. A good photograph is to hold up the 10 Yuan note in the foreground with the Gorge in the background. We did! If my photo suggestion was a good one, please give me a “Helpful” vote.    Take a small 100 person excursion boat (offered with most river cruises) and Sanpan with 30 people if weather is good to explore far into the Gorges. It’s gorgeous! The month of November offers stunning landscape of red maple trees and local fauna. Monkeys live in the Canyon, along with wild ducks.
