This place is so breathtaking I’m surprised it’s not more well known. The “3 whales” are 3 gigantic rocks sticking out of a cliff: the Father, Mother & Baby Whales. Visitors can walk out on the Father & Mother, not the Baby. The Father protrudes out furthest and is the narrowest, but strangely it’s not as vertigo inducing as the Mother which is wider but with sloping sides so you are aware you can slip off and fall 300 meters to the valley below! Photo tip is to stand on the Father rock & let someone take the photo from the Mother rock. The rocks are part of a national park complex that has other beautiful spots too, like Elephant Rock, etc. At the ticket office you can rent an entire pickup truck for 500 baht (driven by the park ranger guides) and they have designed stops along the way.See more..
