Beautiful Building in the City
My husband and I did our own walking tour of the city and we enjoyed walking through the gardens to the Palace even though it was winter. We came around the perfect time to take pictures of the Palace. We came just around sunset and were able to get a beautiful colored sky and not a lot of traffic passing by for some good pictures. Unfortunately, we weren't able to see the inside, hopefully, next time. Worth a stop while you are in Brussels.

Stop by just to see a royal palace!!
When visiting a city for the first time, we do a lot of walking! And walk we did in Brussels, exploring the Royal Quarter to see some of the government buildings and other historical buildings. We spent only a few minutes at the Palais Royal since it was early evening and all we could do is look at this somewhat stately building and watch other tourists taking their selfies and group photos. Unfortunately since the building wasn't open to the public during our visit, we didn't feel the need to return.

Impressive building from the outside
We walked past the palace on our self-designed walking tour through the sights of Brussels. It's only open for the public to enter during some days in the summer, so we saw the exterior only. The building and grounds are beautiful and well-kept, and we were glad we planned our route so we could see them.
