    A remarkable collection
Autoworld, a museum dedicated to motor vehicles, is also open on Monday, which is less common for many museums. The Autoworld Museum tells visitors the story of cars, but also of motorcycles, as well as their evolution. It is arranged in one of the wings of the complex in the Parc du Cinquantenaire. The museum was created on the basis of the outstanding collection held by the Mahy family. Among the models donated to the museum there are many cars of Belgian companies that I have not even heard of: Minerva, Germain, FN, Imperia, Fondu, Vivinus, Nagant, Belga-Rise, Miesse. In the museum I had only one problem: I did not know what not to photograph. As a result, I photographed until the battery of the camera left me off ... then I switched to the smartphone. The people at the museum had a special idea, that of linking certain types of cars to the life of rock stars and created a collection: "Cars and Rock 'N Roll". That's how I learned very interesting things about Ringo Starr, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Elton John, Madonna, Marc Bolan, Robert Plant and the cars they drove successfully, or with less success, during their lifetime. The museum's collection is quite remarkable and who likes such "toys" should visit the museum.

    Worth a visit
It was a rainy Monday so we decided to visit this museum. It was a great way to spend about 90 minutes. When we visited there were a number of Ferrari's on display in celebration of their 75th anniversary. Even without these there's a great collection of cars and motorcycles on display. It wasn't very busy when we were here. It's a great change from the art and history museums we usually see when we're in Europe. There's a small restaurant/coffee shop on site.
