- 5.0 37D Gallery (33 reviews)
-Recommended visit for lunch time!
Spent < 1 hour Art Galleries
37d Gallery is located within a beautiful contemporary building in the Kabulonga area. The gallery holds a wide range of art works by both local Zambian artists and international artists. The Gallery is non-profit organisation which in turn supports the stART Foundation which is a charitable trust dedicated to the generation and promotion of visual arts practice and arts education in Zambia. - 5.0 Lusaka Collective (11 reviews)
-Must visit
Spent < 1 hour Art Galleries
I was a bit worried not to be able to find it after reading the reviews but it’s quite easy to find. Google maps sends you one street before, on the next street there is signs to go straight through a food market which is pretty calm for Africa standards. The outside has a big white fence and the inside is full of trees with a courtyard. I met both of the owners, they are lovely. Had a snack and a lemonade and bought some natural beauty products. Their collection of Zambian crafts is wonderful. See more..
- 5.0 Chiawa Camp & Old Mindoro (2 reviews)
-Chiawa Camp is a remarkable place
Spent More than 3 hours Safaris
We were on a two week safari traveling through South Luwanga and LowerZambezi. On our Journey, we spent 3 nights here and they bent over backwards for us. The service they gave us was amazing and nothing was missed. The staff there is all about the excellent experience they give their travelers. The guides are top notch and I would highly recumbent. We were amazed with the attention to detail and it was all about us. Tented rooms were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Food was excellent and the overall atmosphere is a place I would return to for sure. We met people there from different parts of the globe and everyone raved about Chiawa Camp. . See more..
- 4.5 Lower Zambezi National Park (132 reviews)
-lower Zambezi national park
National Parks
I recently had the opportunity to visit Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia, and it was an absolutely breathtaking experience. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, hippos, crocodiles, and many different types of birds. The scenery is also amazing, with lush green forests and beautiful rivers. The park is perfect for safari activities such as game drives, boat rides and walking safari, which allowed me to see the wildlife up close and personal. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and they made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Lower Zambezi National Park to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable safari experience. See more..

- 4.5 Pakati Sunday Market (16 reviews)
-Wonderfully diverse market -- artistry for every soul
Flea & Street Markets
Continues to be one of the best weekly markets in Lusaka. Artisans come from various parts of the country to sell their goods. What I love is that there are so many different types of art available. You can find a giant chess board made with Zambian woods or stones, the unique impression of a particular painter on Zambia village life, clothing, curious, and almost anything that is sure to bring delight to your loved ones back home. If you are in Zambia on a Sunday, you must go. See more..

- 4.5 Namwane Art Gallery (5 reviews)
-Some neglected classics
Art Galleries
I can't really comment on all aspects of this, as I know (or knew) the owner, so we were given a private tour. However there are paintings dating from the Kaunda era of dancers welcoming the then president at the airport that are definitely amongst the finest examples of Zambian art, and also some very interesting sculptures. However the place is some ten kilometres out of Lusaka on leopards Hill Road. See more..

-ENJOYMENT WITH NATURE
Nature & Wildlife Areas
I would have given it a 5 but having only 2 horses for hours back Riding is jut abusing them animals and the food was just not that well !!! Buutttt wow. What fan !!! The day time package is great value for your money definitely enjoyed every bit of it . I initially thought we would just mix out the activities but I found that it was more expensive so the k1200 is better value . The staff are definitely polite. My advice for you next visitor !! 1 . Contact the team using their Facebook or WhatsApp and make a booking in advance especially if you want to do many activities. 2.cheetah walks are at 16 so if you want to do safari , boating and other items ensure you are there early enough other wise you will have to choose which activity to forego 3.CARRY your own water cause 500mls is k20 All in all it was a great day!! - 4.0 Sunday Crafts Market (72 reviews)
-A must do in Lusaka
Flea & Street Markets
There are now more markets in Zambia but Sunday market still stands out as a tradition that's been going on for more than 15 years. If you have time make sure you walk the full market before committing to anything. Then you will find the unique paintings, crafts, sculptures, and carvings. Some of my finds included an absolutely stunning painting of a lion, bottle cap chitenge trivets for hot food, and chitenge earrings that I like to bring back for friends.. It is a place of negotiation, but as the years have gone by, I've gotten softer in my stance. The work is beautiful -- and it is the labor and hard work of artists trying to make a living. See more..
- 4.0 Eastpark Mall (59 reviews)

Visiting from Kenya, the mall is huge! Wear comfortable shoes if you want to walk around. They have everything...bars, the market (fresh fruits veggies etc), clothes shops, juice bar (my fave near the market), ATMs, supermarkets (2 shoprites), restaurants, toy shops etc. The people are friendly, I felt right at home. - 4.0 Chilenje House (18 reviews)
-Lusaka family trip
Historic Sites
I have been to Lusaka so many times ,but never took time to see this little gem with so much history for my country until 2022 It’s free entry and the guide is so good and knows the whole history from his heart. He took us round the rooms and explained everything and finally we went to the famous land rover which our president used . In hindsight there should be a donation box for free will to help maintain the gardens . See more..

This is a great venue to lounge, grill/bbq, while wildlife roams around just a few feet from you. Great to hike along a beautiful stream/creek. Great for fishing. Refreshing swimming pool. And a well stocked bar. Guests are free to bring their own food, drinks and camping gear. Stay the day, stay for the night? Your choice. A very serene and peaceful place. That’s what paradise should look like. Great for couples, families, friends, reunions etc. I’ll definitely be back! See more..

- 4.0 Southern Africa Freedom Trail (2 reviews)
-A Scavenger Hunt Through History
Hiking Trails
The Southern Africa Freedom Trail is more like a scavenger hunt through Lusaka because most of the buildings are unmarked. Be sure you download the map and the fact sheet before going because this is the only thing that will direct you and give you background information. The locations themselves, however, are extremely important in the liberation of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. See more..
- 4.0 The Chena Art Gallery (1 review)
-The Chena Art Gallery
Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Art Galleries
Chena Art House at Nkwashi isolated backwoods set the stage for spellbinding animal encounters. When navigating within this area through deep tracks of bush, you might come face to face with nomadic bunnies, different species of birds like the Owl, and the mighty Eagle. The diversity of trees adds more to the scenery and the presence of hills builds an eye-catching atmosphere which be-sprinkles an Artistic picture of the divine wisdom nicely embedded with different types of trees. The fresh air which also comes as a result of the clean environment makes the place more adorning to see. While canoeing down the slow-moving Nkwashi dam you can take time to try your hand at fishing and keep an eye on the ducks that fill the waters. Meanwhile, we also sell cold beverages and have our own chefs who prepare meals given 48hrs notice prior to your visit or have your own barbeque using our braai stands. And you can also have some chills by the fire-pit. Don’t think twice about visiting us as it will excite both your mind and eyes. See more..
- 3.5 Zambia National Museum (108 reviews)
-Interesting Artefacts
Speciality Museums
I really enjoyed admiring all the objects and artefacts that are displayed there. A lot has been displayed on the history of Zambia from the colonial days right through to independence and going forth. There is also a real life typical village setting that is built therein. I particularly enjoyed the works of art. I understand that this is a new museum and there is still much that needs to be done to enhance its appearance, but overall it is an interesting place to visit in order to have a feel of Zambia the real Africa. - 3.5 Kalimba Reptile Park (77 reviews)
-WORTH THE TRIP and money
Nature & Wildlife Areas
I loved that there were actually animals or reptiles on property.. we had visited several places that week and they were just lackluster at best. The reptile park was full of snakes and crocs and birds and reptiles... I almost passed out when we saw the Boas. The guide asked me if I wanted to take a photo of holding one of the humongous snakes!!!!! No thank you! It was worth the money we spent though. I would definitely visit this park if you are a reptilian lover. You can also buy alligator and crop meat to cook. It is in the freezer inside where you pay. We didn't purchase any, because we don't know how to cook or prepare it. Happy reptiling! See more..

- 3.0 Munda Wanga Environmental Park (62 reviews)
-Reasonable Afternoon Outing
Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks
We went with low expectations but actually had a pleasant afternoon wandering around the place. The ticket/reception area is very dark and dingy and very outdated. The gardens are well laid out and obviously at one time were quite spectacular. They are badly in need of a gardener with knowledge and passion to remove the weeds and maintain the general state. However the trees are lovely and there were some great picnic spots. The animal park also has potential. We were impressed by the number and variety of animals we saw but were a little perturbed by the health of some of them - the lions in particular. We went in the middle of an exceptional rainy season so everything was very wet and overgrown. Basically this place has great potential - an injection of funds and a caring dynamic management team could very quickly turn this into the place to visit in Lusaka. See more..
- 3.0 Lusaka National Park (45 reviews)
-Not what we expected
Spent 2-3 hours National Parks • Nature & Wildlife Areas
I was here at Lusaka National Park in November 27th 2020. We saw 1 bird. We paid the fee and drove around on the rocky, very rocky terrain and we did not see 1 animal. Well a bird. Very disappointing. They really need to do something with this park. I mean the green scenary is beautiful but it is almost treacherous driving in there. If anyone decides to take the tour, maybe do the guided tour. It might be better. Beautiful greenery. See more..
