We spent 4 days at Chichiriviche and Vulkano took care of everything. They are very knowledgeable of the area and recommended good options to eat and planned all the activities for us. They have different options for staying, we opted for a rented house with a pool. Marisa and Francis are amazing with the kids and they enjoyed showing them everything in and out of the water. We can not wait to go back as there are lots of things left to do. See more..

- 5.0 Bodegas Club Pomar (14 reviews)
-A must see attraction in Venezuela
Wineries & Vineyards
Venezuela is not particularly famous for its wine production. However, since the decade of the 80s, the largest food and beverage company in Venezuela, Polar companies, has been producing excellent wines under the brand Pomar, supported by its vineyards in Carora, in the west region of the country. To publicize this venture, Bodegas Pomar offers guided tours of its vineyards and its production plant, guided by their winemakers and and accompanied by exquisite local cuisine tastings paired with different varieties of their wines. It is a high quality experience that I recommend to both Venezuelans and tourists, it is offered in different options like guided tour for a day during the whole year or two-day visits that take place twice a year, during the harvest festival. -Lovely beach!
Beaches
The best thing about Playa Mero was that boats could not park right in front of the beach but rather they dropped passengers off on the back side of the island where the mangroves opened and then we walked through to the sandy strip. Swimming was a little tricky because there was a lot of coral under the water (Cayo Animas was better in that aspect) but there was a good vibe at the beach. Most people has staked out space right in the middle but the east and west sides of the cove were really untouched and beautiful for walking. We got some delicious fish for lunch as well. See more..
