We had a great time out on the water today with our guide Forrest. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, and put us on some sea trout. Brian was also great to work with, the kayaks were comfortable, stabile, and well equipped. I will definitely go with them again! This is the 2nd time I've booked a 3 day trip with Captain Dayron and I am still impressed with his knowledge and ability to put you on fish. He got my daughter an inshore slam (Snook, Redfish and Sea Trout) her first time ever fishing in saltwater. No tarpon this time, but that's tarpon fishing for you. It wasn't because of anything Captain Dayron did, we jumped two fish that spit the bait. There were tarpon rolling every where it was fantastic. I can't imagine coming to Southwest Florida and not fishing with Captain Dayron, he is worth every penny. See more..

We had an amazing trip with Captain Anthony that we had to book another trip for the next week and the next time we visit Cape Coral we hope to do another Charter with Captain Anthony because we had an amazing few days of Tarpon, Snook, Spotted Sea Trout, and Red Fish fishing. The delectable candy and fudge creations they have are homemade fresh each day. Unlike some store bought chocolates their delicious little morsels contain no preservatives. William says his chocolates are carefully fashioned from his own recipes and that candy making to him is like an art. He says it is a science with trial and error to devise just the right ingredient for just the right recipe. Bob is an excellent captain and we went in areas where we thought for sure a boat could not float, let alone whip around. We were always in excellent hands with Bob in charge. Super fun. A great sunset tour, we just had a lovely time. Captain Karl was a superb guide, professional, accommodating and knowledgeable. We learned about the environment, fishing and history of this fascinating community. We saw several dolphins during a beautiful sunset near the mangroves. The views of Matlacha, the fishing boats, the bridge, the mangroves, the dolphins, the sunset. . . . .it was really neat and I would definitely recommend this operator if you have a chance and are in Matlacha. Capt Art is superb Fly Fishing guide and nice person. We left in the dark and he had us casting at schools of giant Tarpon within 15 minutes. While our Fly skills are not the best, he provides state of the art tackle and patiently showed us some things to improve out casting. We jumped two huge fish tight at sunup. There were so many wonderful items in the shop. You had to look everywhere. Not in a crowded way but in a very good way. I bought quite a few things. I took measurements of many things in pictures and I'm going to come back to my home and see where they might fit. It's my favorite shop so far in Matlacha.
