   There are thousands of wanna-be artists in Florida, but this is where I go to for serious work. It’s the same principle you follow when you go to museums in New York. You have to take the time to step back and absorb it. I had a wonderful discussion with the curator following yesterday’s visit. I go there each time I’m in Lake Worth.    This is an Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. My regular place of worship. Friendly and fairly liberal for an L.C.M.S. church. Pastor Wipperman is a great preacher and teacher. Saturday morning John Austin has a soccer session which is open to all. Rebecca's Garden of Hope is another out reach of this congregation. It is a Christian after school tutorial program for local kids. Family Promise of Central Northern Palm Beach County is another program OSL is involved in. It is a haven for homeless families with children. 11 local church offer food , shelter and other services to the families, who we regard as guests for a week at a time and after a week the families move on to another congregation. Family Promise has an 85% success rate for getting these folks back to work and having their own places to live again. OSL also has traditional services at 9:30 on Sundays and a Bible Study at 8:30 am on Sunday and another 1-2 during the week. See more..

   I would not usually write a review regarding a church, however I have frequented many since arriving in South Florida 40 yrs +However this church is the real deal, simply from the bible for those whom believe Jesus died for us, and plan on going to Heaven, everyone here is the real deal, they preach the facts only, they do not ask for money, give if you want, and if you don't that's cool to, they simply want to spread the word .
