    - Charming farm... with wine!

    Willow Spring Vineyards image
My wife and I stopped in a few weeks ago. It was a hot but otherwise beautiful Sunday afternoon that day. We loved the design and theme of the winery, it was absolutely enchanting and rustic as a renovated barn with knick-knacks and farm equipment. There was even a mill wheel on the grounds! Oh it was so lovely, my wife commented she wished we had our wedding here. The owner was there for the wine tasting. She was very polite, and was happy sharing with us her dream of opening this winery, they had spent years renovating and rehabilitating the barn. The wines were delightful as light and mellow wines; but some of the reds had some weight and bite with them, wines I would enjoy with a steak. The tasting came with the glasses to take home, I have been enjoying them. We purchased a couple of bottles, have not opened them yet but looking forward to it. See more..

    The Lasting Room image
You never know if you'll like a place if you don't try it. So, decided to go for a drink after dinner and found that this place has the sport bar ambient that is entertaining. They have a variety of draft beer and a wide selection of liquor. The menu is limited to bar food; however, the chicken fingers are great. Note, the kitchen hours are limited. They have a cool deck in the back looking over the Merrimack River and a spacious pay-to-park lot. They are a proud sponsor for the Cystic Fibrosis Walk, which is commendable. Friendly bartenders and crew. Definitely a place to go for a drink and game. Enjoy! See more..
  13. 3.0 Cedarland Family Fun Center (8 reviews)
    - Family Fun Center is FUN!
Spent 1-2 hours Game & Entertainment Centers
    Cedarland Family Fun Center image
The Cedarland Family Fun Center has 2 mini-golf courses to try. Both are 18 holes and offer a challenge. On the property they also have batting cages, Skywalk Ropes Course and Amazement an indoor action playcenter and a Climbing Wall. Homeplate Concessions offers pizza & ice cream. The night that I came with my husband a few things that we noticed. The equipment needs to be totally thrown out and purchase all new! Clubs are very used & abused. The grounds in general were in pretty decent shape, but the place is showing its age. Golf holes are haggered. Cedarland has been around for at least 15 years and could use a little TLC. With that said, the mini-golf was fun and challenging. We did the The Land of New England themed side. Need to return to try the other side, Fantasy Land. Prices are average to play. See more..
  14. 3.0 Whiskey Barrel Bar (3 reviews)
    - Whiskey Barrel Bar
Spent More than 3 hours Country & Western Bars
    Whiskey Barrel Bar image
Went here both Friday Night to See The Eric Grant Band who we know and love. Then went Saturday Night again to see another band we know and love The Boys Of Rockingham. Both bands were great. Love the place a bigger dance floor than most places we have been. But go early say by 8 PM. It opens @ 5 PM but by 8ish the parking lot is full. thre is one next door that can be used but that fills quick too. Plenty of bartenders to handle the big crowds that come here. I liked it a lot but after 9 no room to dance cause even though they have ample seating the dance floor is mobbed with people standing and listening to the bands. Nice to not have to travel to Manchester or Nashua to see a band. Love it here. no option to put up pics or I would have. Took a lot on fri and sat night. See more..
