A nice place to play, but a lot of housing built up around the course. It's walkable but a little pricey

FAR CRY from old crystal springs golf.
My pal tom and i play CRYSTAL about once a week and have for some time.Just use hole 4 and hole 5 to compare to the old days to the current course conditions and most golfers will agree to the superior conditions compared to the old days. My good friend Ed Tomkins finally got me to play here after years of trying-he was such a nice person-memories of him while waiting to hit a shot on sunday probably got me to think of the old crystal and the much improved New crystal golf course.Green fees are reasonable and tee times seem to run close to actual clock time. Now if everyone tried to play in four hours or better...fix their ball marks...

Far cry from the old Crystal Springs
Its a shame that this place changed names and the course. Used to be kept up much better and didnt have homes on the course. I have been coming to this course since I was 10 years old and sold lemonade on the 13th hole. Mr. Gelt welcomed me then and did so until he passed on. I miss the old days and the former Crystal springs. At best, now its just o.k. Most likely will keep my memories and play somewhere else. Value/ condition is o.k. for doing a quick 9. Gotta call it as I see 'em.
