Ron Cox makes artisanal brooms in a little shop in downtown Fort Davis. The brooms are beautiful, and the shop owner's stories are a delight. He makes the brooms right in front of you. He can custom make a broom and will ship it to your house, too. They cost $25 and up, expensive for a broom, but cheap for a functional piece of art. We compared how the handmade broom worked to a store broom, and saw that the handmade broom really is better at sweeping up dust. A proper art gallery, not a cluttered up gift shop. The gallery is home to fine art photography by Robert Haspel. A wide variety of subject matter and style is displayed. Robert is a long time (old) photographer that enjoys sharing his work. Sales are secondary, so feel free to visit. Please check out the reviews . . .
