Great experience at Skydive East Tennessee! Booking process was easy. My first attempt the weather did not cooperate but a few days later it was perfect. Rebooking was easy - thank you Ginger! They were very accommodating when I was running late because of a traffic jam. A short informational video and some paperwork and you're off. I chose to jump in shorts and a tank though jumpsuits are available. I added still pictures to the package but would recommend the video too if it's your first jump. The tandem jumper was great explaining the process while climbing to the 11,000 ft altitude. Harness is checked several times and any concerns are answered. It's a very small, personal venue which made the experience even better. Highly recommend and would definitely do again! See more..
  2. 5.0 Wolf Paws Positive Awareness Wolfdog Sanctuary (8 reviews)
    - A Phenomenal Sanctuary
    Nature & Wildlife Areas
Wolf Paws Positive Awareness Wolfdog Sanctuary image
I contacted this wonderful sanctuary in December hoping to be able to arrange a tour even though their website said that they didn't have any tours on the dates that I would be in the area. Surprisingly, my email was promptly responded to by the director, Jennifer Ackley, who was incredibly accomodating, even arranging for my tour on New Year's Eve. The tour was amazing and I wish I could remember the name of the young lady who conducted it. She was passionate about her work and the animals and was clearly very knowledgeable. The wolf dogs are so well cared for and loved that it left me with a warm feeling when I left. I encourage anyone who loves wolves and wolf dogs to support this organization. Well done, Wolf Paws!! Tinsley-Bible Drugstore image
Saw Tinsley Bible on Facebook and we decided that we would try it. It was NO mistake going there. As soon as we entered, we were greeted. Browsed a short time and then went to the counter to order lunch. We were greeted with the friendliness people on earth. Welcomed us, asked if this was our first visit with them and did not rush us while we decided what we wanted for lunch. It felt like Aunt Bee and Andy should be walking in at any time. (this is meant to be a positive comment). Excellent food! Although this was our first visit, we were treated like "regulars". As we got up to leave, everyone told us to be sure to come back we were in the area. You can bet will go back each time we are in the area. Can't say enough great comments on this place. See more..

This was our 3rd time renting with H2O and each time we have had a great experience. Their prices are reasonable and Jennifer was particularly helpful when I needed to reduce my 8 hour rental to 4 hours the morning of the experience. We also have high praise for Connor, our deck hand. He was friendly and thorough in checking our pontoon and jet ski. We enjoyed our time so much the previous 2 times that we brought along some friends this time and they also had a great time! Thanks for remembering that customer service is a top priority in a service industry! See more..

Great boat rental experience, from booking online, calling to ask questions and texts on what I needed to do before showing up for my reservation. When I arrived the boat was ready to go with life jackets and the rented tube. The boat was super clean, had GPS and stereo. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful!! We spent the full day out on the lake - swimming, exploring and taking turns on the tube - I honestly did not expect to have so much fun. Returning the boat was equally as easy. See more..

  20. 2.0 Dandridge Partnership Trail (2 reviews)
    - Fun Short Walk
    Hiking Trails
This is a unique place to go for a walk. We read the Tennessee River Valley write up on their page. It said is was a 1.2 mile out and back trail. Well we made it that distance but the trail itself is only 3/10 of a mile per their sign post and our hiking app was close to that distance traveled one way. With all of that being said it was a really fun walk in the woods and along Douglas Lake. The hike is very hilly so be aware of that. It does afford some awesome and up close views of the lake and the unique rock formations only found in this area (at least we have not seen anything like them before). The entry is pretty rough. Fortunately we have a four wheel drive SUV as it was a bit higher but still had a slight scrapage as we entered. We would not recommend a car entering the gravel road this place is located on. WE gave it 3 stars because of the distance. Really too short for a hike more of a path to get you to the lake on the end of peninsula. See more..
