   For my husband's birthday, we rented his-and hers-Corvettes. We had a great time! We took our son and switched him back and forth between the two cars. We chose the "Arrive and Drive Townie" package. The price included a half-day rental, gas, and lunch. The owner is very personable and had two shiny new Corvettes ready for us when we arrived. The cars had a pre-chosen route programmed into the GPS, so the cars just led us on our way through a very scenic drive to Southern NH. The route included a stop at a pick-your-own fruit farm and a meal at a nice little diner. We had fun watching people stare at us on the road and in the parking lots, wondering what was up with the sporty his-and-hers Corvette family! We would recommend this to anyone. It was a good time and good value for the cost of the rental. If my husband ever comes home one night and says he did something crazy and bought a Corvette, my only response will be, "Where's my set of keys?!!" See more..

   We stumbled across this place during my granddaughters first travel ball softball tournament of the season. I’ve found golf courses to be great places to visit during these trips since I’m always looking for new adventures in golf and there’s usually something to get to eat. Honestly snack shacks at the tournaments are okay but I personally like the country club crowd. We didn’t play golf since we didn’t have our clubs but........ while checking the place out I asked if there was a menu and a special and low and behold a 1/2 pound burger and fries for five bucks. Okay let’s see it I said and Holy Carne Asada Batman this is the real deal worthy of a road trip back for some golf. The prices are $60.00 on the weekend for 18 & a cart, it was looking real busy Saturday and $55.00 weekday 18 & a cart. They tell me it’s challenging and the back nine is tight. We’ll return to rate the golf later but the bar is nice great service and the burger was a home run. See more..
