Thank you to our guides Seth and Puna for the great adventure experience today. The weather was drizzly, but that didn’t matter as we doned wetsuits, harnesses, life jackets and helmets - and masks. Many Jumps into rock pools, swimming in the river, a zip line or 2, and an abseil in and walk out of the kloof made an all round great experience. Whilst advertised as fine for all, I suggest the excursion is avoided if you are not suitably fit, or afraid of heights and jumping into rivers. I would recommend hiring the AfriCanyon shoes as they appeared to be less slippery than our takkies. You are essentially in the water for most of the time. See more..

I cannot praise this place highly enough. Firstly they are the real deal with an amazing selection of snakes. They are extremely knowledgeable about all things snake and Ken, our tour guide, kept us riveted with an amusing take on it all so that we were thoroughly engaged from the first moment to the last. He gave us lots of time to ask questions and to handle the snakes which were amazing. Highly recommended! See more..

Both I and my partner flew with Flytime paragliding today. We had a fantastic time and a great experience all around. The setting is unbelievably beautiful and the staff were very professional and friendly. We flew with Sue who is a great pilot and put our minds at ease straightaway. We chose the adventure package and for the extra 10 mins alone, it was worth the small extra cost. Great experience and will definitely go again next time we are in Sedgefield. Thanks again See more..
  4. 4.5 Wild Oats Community Farmers Market (468 reviews)
    - Great variety of food and stalls
    Sunday: Farmers Markets
Wild Oats Community Farmers Market image
Wild Oats is a local farmers and food market open every Saturday morning until 12 noon. We are located on the western outskirts of Sedgefield at the turnoff to Sedgefield Island. An award winning Garden Route landmark we are not to be confused with the Scarab Craft Market to the far east of Engen Petrol Station or the Mosaic Flea Market across the road from Wild Oats. As a food market, our open times are limited due to the short shelf-life of many of our LOCALLY PRODUCED products which include: Free-range chicken, beef, pork and lamb, free-range eggs, multiple cheese, dairy and baked products including fresh gouda, cheddar, blue-cheeses... milk, fresh fish, fruits, free-range & organic vegetables in season, many traditional and exotic bottled goods, organic olives, berries, rusks, koeksisters, biltong & wors, famous artisan breads, award-winning cheesecakes and goats cheeses... and on and on and on. Also a fabulous range of hot-off-the-grill breakfasts, coffees, teas and fresh-squeeze juices and smoothies. FOOD HEAVEN! Come face-to-face with our local food producers every Saturday morning, come rain or shine. See more..
