Laurent was very accommodating and patient with me; still a novice diver with limited experience. His English is very good and he was clear with instructions and support and set a nice comfortable pace underwater. The two dives were well coordinated and sites were chosen based on the experience of the team and variety of environment. They also supplied quality equipment to use. The seas were a little rough; but the experience was truly fantastic. We spent time on a carefully arranged path with a small group and had a tea and biscuit break between the dives. The photos Laurent took were also amazing and upon reviewing them he grabbed some of his reference books to help us understand more about the sealife we had observed. Thanks Laurent and Martine for being a great crew today. I will be coming back for more! See more..

Erin and her team were wonderful and made our day in Noumea one to remember. Our group held 3 families and the activity took us through some beautiful rain forest (an uphill walk/hike) to the zipline starting point. The zip lining was exhilarating and allowed us to feel free as a bird. These were the longest zips I've ever experienced. What a wonderful way to experience this beautiful part of the world. We took a one hour scenic flight in a two seater plane (just me & the fabulous pilot Gilbert). Gilbert knew exactly how to take the best photos. He was knowledgeable and funny, and pointed out sharks, turtles, sea cows, fish, people, walking tracks, hearts in the water, crab farms and so much lace coral along the reef. He also made a great referral to the Hotel Poe afterwards, and a cocktail by the Sheraton pool. My husband was next up and while waiting I was able to relax in the hangar with coffee and a seat in the shade. Prior to our arrival, Fabian was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We had been concerned about the weather at this time of the year, and were so fortunate with a clear window to fly. Highly recommend! See more..

it s a long time I was looking for electric bike rental to explore the fantastic site "Les Boucles de Tina" close to Noumea center .and I recently found Mark from Ebike adventure .He was very helpfull to explain how the site is organized and how to manage electric bike in different situation we could met . We have discovered the site with 2 of his very well maintained bikes during 2, 5 hours , it was just marvelous , a lot of differents levels , from beginners to expert , black red green and blue level ...even asphalt track for kids was available . A fantastic afternoom in the middle of a very quite huge bushland in the city !just increadible having so many tracks so close from Noumea I ll never forgot this experience . Franck See more..

A couple who run this park are the one who actually built this entire adventure setting with woods in woods! It took them for a year and half to build this amazing facility. VERY Reasonable price and that includes a rental gear for the security to climb up high on trees. There are several zip lines to enjoy. Secure and well made. A fabulous whole day activity on a beautiful island. From the moment the shuttle collects you from your hotel you feel the Amédée welcome. Mary D know how to look after their clients. The boat trip is about 45 mins to Amédée and once you arrive you instantly relax. Lots of activities to participate in. Delicious seafood and bbq lunch accompanied by wine and juice. There is a bar where you can indulge in refreshments before lunch and a reasonably priced souvenir shop. I enjoyed the guided walk explaining the fauna on the island. There were a few tricots rayés and we were reminded that they were more scared of us. The glass bottom boat offered the opportunity to observe the marine life and the Melanesian dance show was a lot of fun. It was wonderful to be able to climb the lighthouse again. Although the ride over was a bit bumpy the weather was beautiful which apparently is not unusual for Amédée. A very special day for many reasons. See more..

I wish I could give six stars for this. My wife and I have both dived in at least a dozen countries around the word. This rated in my top 5 reef dives of all time. The boats are purpose-built for diving. The dive master is very competent and professional. But the real delight is the owner/dive master. You will never meet a more caring and enthusiastic person. The backdrop to the dive shop camp ground are the famous rock formations of Hienghene. Its a long but very scenic drive to get there from the airport (six hours) but well worth it. The owner speaks good English, but he is on the boat until about 2pm so call after that to make a booking. There is also a really good hotel a few hundred metres south of the dive centre . See more..

A very interesting museum in the centre of Nouméa. Staff were friendly and fees were reasonable. The displays were in French but some were repeated in English. We were given an iPad to carry around which had a choice of languages to check for further details at different spots in the museum. Show plenty of time so you can read and absorb the different displays - we had to rush the second half as they were closing. Thus probably not very interesting for younger children! It includes world war ii history in general and specifically for New Caledonia -both of which are interesting. See more..

This national park was absolutely stunning. We drove from Noumea to a couple of swimming locations and did some short walks with two young kids. The drive is approx 1.5 to 2 hours from Noumea but well worth it. Some of it was on dirt track to get to some of the park and it’s surrounds. There is a stunning red earth contrasted with blue and lush green. Our highlight was a little bit beyond the park, the Cascade De Goro waterfall. A really good accessible waterfall and swimming hole which the kids loved! Who: great for all travelers but walking, swimming and driving required. Highlight: cascade de Goro waterfall and swimming hole. When: best to go during the day and make sure you’re not driving at night or dusk as roads can get narrow, with no lighting. See more..

Recommended by our travel agent this was a stand out of our recent trip. It caters to most tastes and capabilities from short walks to a slightly longer treks on well formed paths or an hour to several hours or more challenging walks. A great introduction to the west coast temperate forests of New Caledonia. We particularly like that its employees are drawn from the surrounding communities and the level of pride that is going into this place. The one thing to watch out for is the drive in. It rapidly becomes a one-liner tortuous track. Traversable by a two-wheel drive vehicle but care is needed. Overall highly recommended for a half day to day. Bring your own food See more..

We booked this tour as we had been to noumea before and wanted to do some snorkelling. It is the best tour we have done on a cruise ship by far and while priced slightly higher was well worth it. All the staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. The island was beautiful and we got to swim with turtles a large range of fish and see some lovely coral. The lunch that was put on was exceptional and cocktails (non alcoholic and alcholic) beer and wine were all provided free during lunch. There was a show of traditional dancing which they got the crowd involved in and multiple other displays through the day as well as a glass bottom boat ride. There are a lot of snakes on the island but they ate harmless. They were arouns our chairs and in the water but they never come near you. If your looking for a goid day trip with beautiful scenery thus is it. See more..

This was my very first dive experience and I was both excited and nervous, Our instructors were such lovely people and being my first dive ever at age 56 I felt very secure and safe. I am grateful Hadrien and Basile made this such an incredible first experience for me which makes me want to dive more. Four of our family group were inexperienced divers, while one was experienced. having two instructors meant both experienced and non-experienced enjoyed their dives and felt they had had a brilliant and worthwhile dive experience. Located off Poe beach near Bourail (10mins from Sheraton Deva resort) this snorkelling trip was fantastic! Philippe was an incredible snorkelling guide who has a real passion for the reef. He showed us turtles, a reef shark, sea snake, amazing coloured coral, sea anemones and of course anemone fish (Nemo), sea horses, crayfish and myriad tropical fish. Phillippe’s English was perfect and he was very friendly. It was quite windy on the day we went and the current was strong but as we are strong swimmers had no trouble but I would not have taken children snorkelling in those conditions (nor would Philippe). So calm conditions would be better suited for families or not so strong swimmers. We followed our 45minute snorkel with a delicious lunch next door. It was a great excursion and good value! This would have to be the highlight of your tour up on the northern east coastline of New Caledonia. These amazing cliffs have to be seen close-up. Hire a kayak which are on-site...just cross the road to the house to get your paddle and pay! Or take a motorised boat ride to ride and explore in comfort. It was a wonderful experience diving with Reve Bleu! David is amazingly friendly, very helpful and he showed us two great dive sites. Communication with him via email was perfect, when we arrived early in the morning he offered us tea/coffee while preparing our equipment. We went for two nice dives. The boat is very comfortable. The dive center is clean and all the equipment is in perfect condition ! Between the two dives we went to a lovely lagoon and enjoyed coffee with a pain au chocolate. What a wonderful experience ! We were on the first cruise ship back to Noumea since COVID (3 years). It was also our first time to Noumea and we used the hop on hop off tour buses. From all the stops Lemon Bay was the great. Beautiful clean warm water, clean beach & life guards. They have pontoons about 60m of shore you can swim out to and jump, dive and bomb off. It’s a ripper for little kids or teens. I flew with Simon, the pilot, from the Sheraton where he picks up passengers just off the beach. The flight was fantastic, we saw the shark trench and sea life from the cockpit. Simon was able to spot it. The airplane is very stable, safe, well equipped and the pilot was experienced, communicative and knowledgeable. You sit right next to him so he can show you and explain everything. This is both a fantastic aeronautical experience and a beautiful way to see the area. See more..
