    Jardin Botanico Culiacan image
I really loved this place. It has a very wide variety of vegetation from dessert to tropical species. The garden is also filled with installations from different artists all across the place. I would recommend buying insect repellent at the gift shop from the beginning. Also visit early morning before it gets to hot. See more..

Take a step into history on a funicular ride. Admire the greatness of the port from the top of the Cerro del Vigía where you will live a trip to the past inside one of the oldest buildings in the city, where at the same time you will share the pleasure of knowing traditions in the mezcal process and being part of nature participating in the conservation of rescued birds in a space of care and education. ¡Live it up! and create a unique memory. 3. 4.5 Nuevo Vallarta Beach (3.548 reviews)
    - Nuevo Vallarta Beach is Perfect!
    Beaches
    Nuevo Vallarta Beach image
A beautiful long beach to walk on and great sunsets. Many birds can be seen every day and since I am a watercolor artist I captured great photos to use as references for future art works. Sand is perfect and we even found a few Venus clam shells. Hardly any tourists there right now so I was able to get lovely panoramic shots of the beach every day too. It was 78 degrees every day and the water was fine for swimming- never saw any little jellies so that was also nice. We saw a few families and the kids were having so much fun because it’s very shallow way out into the waves and no drop off. See more..
  4. 4.5 Things to Do in Nayarit (3.472 reviews)
    - Must Do Ocean Adventure
    Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Islands
Things to Do in Nayarit image
Formed as a result of volcanic activity, this group of uninhabited islands is a great place to spot marine wildlife like dolphins, manta rays, turtles, and even humpback whales during winter. It is best known for the photogenic Hidden Beach, a small bay completely enclosed by rock that can only be accessed by a water tunnel at low tide. Boat tours leave from Punta de Mila that's about 15 minutes away and include a mandatory marine park fee. To prevent over tourism, the number of daily visitors to the beach is limited, so book the tour early to secure your slot. – Tripadvisor See more..

    Old Mazatlan image
The old town Mazatlan is particularly beautiful at night. Although it is pretty anytime of the day, but the lighting at night makes it truly magical and worth wandering the streets looking for a small restaurant to have dinner or a coffee house to have a pastry and a cup of coffee. All the restaurants in the area are quite good and none will truly disappoint. So lose yourself walking around the old town and imagine what it was like 100 years ago when Mazatlan was just a small Fishermans town. See more..

We were only in Taxco for 2 nights. We walked to the Zocalo from our hotel. We toured the Cathedral, and then people watched for a short time. So much activity, so many little shops, we bought a print of the church from one of the local shops. We would have liked to stay longer in Taxco. Such a unique experience. See more..

    Playa los Muertos image
The sand is mesmerizing, with golden flakes within the grains, as the waves retrieve, the sight of the sands retrieving is just beautiful. The waves are manageable and the sand feels like walking on a pillow. The time I was there, May 2021 the water was clear. Lookouts
High Cliff Divers by Night with Dinner image
I watched the cliff diving show from the La Perla restaurant. The view is from the top down. One can walk down steps to watch the diving show from a different angle. The dinner at La Perla restaurant with the view is amazing. You come to the La Perla restaurant to view the diving and the ambience. The food is not the best, but it is good enough. Service at the restaurant is wonderful and each table seemed to have great views. If you could stay at the El Mirador hotel, of which the restaurant is a part of, it would be very convenient. There is plenty of security. A band plays romantic songs as the diving show progresses. Pay attention to the divers, as it is easy to miss the dives as they occur. See more..

    Ciclopista de Ixtapa image
We walked the section of the bike path that goes through the nature reserve, about 2.3 miles, heading south starting across the street from Playa Linda. The path is well maintained, very Uncrowded with pedestrians or bikers, mostly in the shade and so peaceful. We saw and heard lots of birds, some beautiful butterflies but no other wild life. We enjoyed ourselves immensely See more..
