- 4.5 Anse Couleuvre (611 reviews)
-Must see waterfall in Martinique
Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls
This is an easy hike through the jungle/tropical forest, that for a normal person takes about 50 min to reach the waterfall. An enormous waterfall where you can refresh yourself. Great experience. On the way back, count another 40 min. Depending on how much time you spend under the cascade, this activity takes minimum 2h. Be careful when getting there by car with weak traction, you might not reach the place where the hike starts. We had to park our car at 1.6km from the starting place. The road is very sinuous, on the horizontal and on the vertical... See more..

- 4.5 Cascade Couleuvre (58 reviews)
-Nice jungle hike with reward at its end
Waterfalls
I went to waterfall pretty by accident. My original place to visit was beach, but it was worth it. Hike can be done pretty fast (40min one way) when you are in good shape. Hike is beautiful, but the road can be sometime a little confusing. Just follow well-trodden path and some arrows on the rock and you will be fine. Bring some water, good shoes and dont underestimate tropical climate. You will go in shade but humidity and high temperature will do its work. Waterfall is amazing, water is cool and refreshing. 100% worth of trip. PS: Road to the "parking" lot is just hell, especially when you have rented car as I had. See more..

- 4.5 Anse Belleville (2 reviews)
-A relaxing beach with grey sand
Spent 2-3 hours Beaches
We parked near the D10. We went down to the Anse Belleville. We saw several people sunbathing. I wish I could swim in the ocean. It was so beautiful!. However, we forgot our swimming suits. There were stones, but they were not in our space. The sand was grey, due to the volcano. It was attractive. I liked the palm trees. And the beach was very quiet. Worthwhile to see! See more..

- 4.0 Distillerie Depaz (477 reviews)
-Good rum
Spent 1-2 hours Distilleries
See more..
- 4.0 Cascade du Saut du Gendarme (245 reviews)
-Beautiful and most accessible waterfall of Martinique
Waterfalls
I would not recommend trying to find this on your own. It is up a very windy mountain and the sign is easy to miss. here are a lot of steps to get to the waterfall and you cross a creek by rocks. According to our tour guide, this is the only waterfall you can get to without hiking. I would not recommend it for anyone who has knee problems or any physical disability. Once at the falls, the water was shallow enough for kids to enjoy. This was my first experience in a rainforest and I really enjoyed it! See more..
- 4.0 Theatre of Saint-Pierre (75 reviews)
-Beautiful Warning
Spent < 1 hour Ancient Ruins
I visited on a tour of Fort-de-France, Saint-Pierre and other locales. It was heartbreaking to hear the story of the volcanic eruption. If only the officials had listened to the warnings. The image of the theatre before the devastation was magnificent. I can't believe every man-made thing wasn't completely destroyed. Apparently, one person survived the eruption, and he was in the jail next door. What is left of the theater is beautiful to witness. See more..
- 4.0 Mémorial de la catastrophe de 1902 (58 reviews)
-Well done memorial and museum to the disaster
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM History Museums
The story of the volcanic eruption that destroyed Saint Pierre and the surrounding communities is one well worth experiencing. The museum is small, but very well laid out and the electronic guides provide valuable information. highly recommended. See more..
