   Booked Grab services at Batam Centre Ferry Terminal to go to Nagoya when we were approached by some guys who are the taxi operators. They offered me their taxi services (which cost twice more than Grab), but when I turned them down, they stayed and insisted me to cancel the Grab booking. Awhile later, the Grab car arrived (about 200m outside the terminal) and two of the operators surrounded the Grab driver and chased him away. The Grab driver insisted that he is on a public road but still he was chased away. The Grab driver didn’t want to argue further and got back into his car.    Small indoor amusement park with no air conditioning. Suitable for children between height 90-135 cm as most rides are for this group. Some ride are restricted to children below 120 cm. Hence, I would recommend this place more for preschool kids. We bought IDR300,000 credits and got IDR300,000 free. Rides cost between IDR15,000 to 20,000. The card can also be used at the small arcade which is in the same compound but air conditioned. games cost IDR2900 to 3900. I have a 9 yo and a 7 yo. The amusement park was somewhat boring for the 9 yo.    This temple is across the estuary from Tanjung Pinang so we hired a boat. half way across, a torrential rain storm suddenly appeared. We sheltered in the main Chinese Temple first then found out that the Banyan Tree Temple is about one kilometre east of the main temple. After more sheltering, we got there, soaked to our skins, but it was worth it. The tree has wound its way around the temple very thoroughly. See more..
