- 5.0 Epis Midland Tour (25 reviews)
-Best thing we did in Fiji
Sightseeing Tours
My husband and 2 children went on Epi's tour to his village Lovoni on Ovalau. We were in Fiji for 3 weeks altogether and this was by far the best thing we did. Epi is so well informed on natural medicines and 'bush tucker' - we learnt so much. Lunch was delicious and laying back on the veranda listening to the history while our kids played in the river with the local children was a perfect end to perfect day. A must for anyone visiting. - 4.0 Levuka Historical Port Town (17 reviews)
-Definitely worth making a trip
Spent 2-3 hours Historic Walking Areas
This old colonial port town is filled with history and historic architecture. The main Beach Street is like a wild Wild West set in the South Pacific. The place will intrigue historians, archaeologists, architects and heritage enthusiasts for sure. We didn’t have enough time but there are heaps of hikes, walks, waterfalls and villages to visit. Locals are super friendly and will say bula to you. It’s safe to walk around day and night. It is idyllic and peaceful and relaxing for anyone who is looking for a break from a hectic life. The community spirit is amazing and so is the natural beauty. The town or the island is not on the popular tourist track as it doesn’t have the kind of resorts that main island has but it’s a perfect place to see real Fiji outside the resorts. Highly recommend spending at 2-4 days. Taxis on the island are so cheap you can take them to go around everywhere. See more..
- 4.0 Tokou Village (2 reviews)
-Interesting geographic features
Historic Sites
Wonderful people in this small village made this a lovely stop over. There is an interesting history to the area and the landscape is also quite interesting. Unfortunately we had bad weather and did not make it out to the reef for an explore...next time! See more..
