   When we pulled up to Salton Waterfalls, we weren't quite sure what we would find. We paid $20 EC to a lady at the front who opened the gate for us. We were able to drive down a very overgrown road to a parking area. The bridge was washed out, so you have to park there and walk down to the falls. It's pretty slippery on the way down, but it's manageable with good footwear. The falls were very beautiful. There are actually three here of varying sizes. It's sad how much was work was done down there making observation areas, and now it seems to be falling into disrepair. From what I understand, after a mudslide took out the bridge, it became less marketable. The fall was worth the effort, though. See more..
