We had the pleasure to meet Berani on our trip to Dominica. He took us to the boiling lake and made the hike not only a pleasant adventure but also an experience where we learned so much. We got along super well, my husband and him clicked directly and he was such a helping hand for me when the hike got a bit more difficult. We did the peppers choice excursion on our cruise day last week. My wife and I highly recommend this excursion. Some hightlights included seeing Trafalgar Falls (excellent), Emerald pool (which I swam in), sulper spa (soaked in the hot spring), Mero Beack (swam there). Beverages and WIFI included is a plus, able to upload pictures to social media while driving from each place. Included is a helpful guide who narrated between stops. We had just that right amount of time at each stop as well. If ever back in Dominica we would hire Pepper again for further exploration. See more..

This was my 2nd time going on a whale watching tour in Dominica. The first time was in March 2021 with another company on a bigger boat and I didn't see a single whale...in mating season, when it's supposed to be the peak time. This time around, with PH whale watching, it was a smaller boat,a more intimate and relaxed experience, and we saw 6 whales! He introduced all the history of the island and explained all the details of every single place we visited. Michael also made sure we would have the best guide in the champagne reef and his colleague was great and showed us all kinds of animals in the reefs. My wife and I had a fantastic time with Chadi on Dominica. We went to Middleham Falls, Titou Gorge, and Trafalgar Falls, with a couple of other small stops (overlooks and such). All the places Chadi took us were fabulous. He adjusted well to our pace so we never felt rushed, told us a lot of fun stories about the island, the vegetation, and animals, and was great all around. Chadi went above and beyond by taking some pictures and videos of us swimming in the Middleham Falls and sharing them with us after the tour. He was also a great communicator. We used WhatsApp to arrange the tour and the meetup at the pier, and he was in constant contact with us. A great experience and a highly recommended guide! See more..

My mother and I had facials here at Nature's Caress a couple weeks ago and we are still glowing. They use all natural ingredients which I love for the smell, feel and overall wellness value. We also adore the handmade soaps, the coconut oil as well as the lip balm. Dafrica is the owner and she has amazing attention to detail with her spa decor and client care. Last year my husband and I were in Dominica and enjoyed her massages which were equally memorable to the facial I had this trip. I highly recommend this spa experience. Local efforts have made a way for these diligent and creative people to contribute to their own culture and society by weaving beautiful baskets and small dolls and offering them to tourists. The prices are reasonable and the craftsmanship is sturdy and beautiful. Their shop is not down by the cruise terminal, so it’ll take a bit of effort to get there, but everyone is so appreciative of the time you spend learning about this wonderful undertaking. See more..

I stumbled across The Healthy Living Wellness Center while looking for affordable massages in Roseau, Dominica. I had their signature massage, which is a combination of lighter deep tissue massage and relaxation massage. It was honestly the best massage experience I ever had. Paid 95 East Caribbean Dollars for 60 minutes. They offer plenty of massages and treatments, as well as dietary advise, etc., but I only tried the massage. I highly recommend paying them a visit! So we had just hiked boiling lake 2 days before and were still sore from that 8.5 mile hike, so this Middleham Falls hike was a little more than we anticipated but it was worth it. Just to be clear, this hike is a little shy of 3 miles and is between 1050-1150 feet of elevation climb. You cross a small stream, hike up a hill, it goes mostly flat for a while and then you have steep climb down to the falls. On a dry day, it would take about 45 minutes to get to the falls. On a wet day, it took us an hour because we were slipping all over the place. There is a small amount of scrambling on this hike. But wow- when you get to the falls, it is stunning. He promised whales, and he delivered 3 of them! One sperm whale appeared 6 feet from us and we got a once an a lifetime experience when we saw it dive. 12 starts in Borne, and climbs steeply to the slopes of Morne au Diable before descending into the villages of Vielle Case and Penville. 13 starts at the end of Pennville and goes along the steep mountain slopes around the headlands of the island before descending into Capuchin. Post Maria, both sections are now well cleared, but the damage was extensie, and it must have been a tremendous amount of work to get it to this state. Views are tremendous of the Atlantic and the Caribbean, and the trail goes through both extent and abandoned farms and montane forest. We came to Tia’s because the other sulphur pool was closed (we came during a period with high COVID cases so a lot of places were closed). We were SO happy we got to come here instead. It was empty and the hot baths were amazing. Nature did us a favor and it was pouring rain while we were in the sulphur pool. We felt so in tune with nature. My husband and I were referred to Donnie's Water Sports at Champagne Beach by the manager of the place we were staying. He did not disappoint! He rented us snorkeling equipment and life vests and took us on an hour long tour for just $20. He was very informative, pointing out many types of fish and coral. He let us stop and play in the bubbles on the way out to the reef and on our return. I think he also just rents equipment, without the tour. Visited here independently while on a cruise. Taxi was about $10 US and takes about 25 minutes from the pier. There are facilities here for food, drink and changing as well as various vendors for massages, crafts, etc. The day we were there the sea was rather rough and while it was a steep beach waves were still washing up over the berm.
